Much nicer than show cards. But getting them was a huge hassle. CASH ONLY. And they didn't tell you that until you were inside, and they wouldn't hold them for you as you went to get cash. They finally gave up and just stopped selling them. That was a sketchy crowd to say the least. Jeez......what a challenge.

I think they printed all of these for the show. Having said that they seemed genuinely annoyed with the ordeal and not all that interested in selling the rest. Anyone that came after the line was done they refused to sell too. Seemed only VIPs of the gallery were getting through that wall.

I know that itโs only showcards - as some said - but they are really nice the 4 together.

There was perhaps some agitation before it began? I was grateful and fortunate to be brought in very early but my general sense was one of chaos even at the onset.... I hope Eric and the crew were able to relax and or enjoy the rest of the time out here.

Pics as posted above. Signed cards were limited, so couldnโt pick any extra up for those asking. The hypebeast kids seemed only interested in the cards. Can post more pics of show later.

My date wasn't super interested in the event, she was cold because she wasn't wearing much.
Went there for Bast and Insect who were absolutely stunning and enjoyed Malik and Sticky.
Would have loved to talk a bit about art with some of you UAAers that were there but don't really know who would be open to someone else starting to talk to them. I've been here a few years but don't know the other LA based members. Do the old guys in UK all know each other?
Is there a way we can show we are members of the tribe willing to talk to someone in person? Pin a flower on your shirt?? It would have been cool to share in the excitement of some amazing art.

But lha is right, it seems that a lot have been there to flip them already, and did not care about the show. They are beautiful and not seem as an usual size for a showcard.

Yesterday, someone complained ( not me, for one time, as I read even if they don't look at them ) that there were not anymore showcards in gallery. Because no exhibitions since a while ? Because too many flippings ? did Invader made a showcard ?

Still had a modest stack for sale. Markedly larger than a typical show card, about 10 inch by 10 inch. Off set but signed. Happy to have a Paul Insect souvenir with no fuss and comparably affordable.
The canvases on display were huge and very impressive work. The gallerist showed us a collage work Paul had made him as a gift from the show cards, very cool and unusal mixed media cut out piece.
