A gallery in Zurich, Switzerland, where I live, is selling 30+ original drawings from Keith Haring (+ prints, jackets, skateboards). They acquired the private collection of a family from Belgium that apparently has been able to get those from KH around 1987 when he came and exhibited in Knokke, Belgium. I can send the link to the gallery website with the pictures of the artworks for those interested. I saw them in the gallery and they look VERY nice and in very good condition. I would probably buy a couple (around 30k each) but 2 experienced persons on the forum have advised me to be extremelly cautious as there are a lot of fake KH artworks in the market apparently, including with fake CoAs. Someone from an auction house even told me that due to the lack of provenance they would probably not sell those if one day I was considering selling. Gallery looks legit to me and is led by experienced professionals. Feels very frustrating not being able to assess authenticity so was wondering if someone else on the forum as some specific experience/view.
Stay well away from these unless you are 101% sure of the provenance. Some Galleries will fill you full of shit when it comes to Keith Haring.

When I first saw it from OP, I loved them and could picture 2 of them flanking my boy's bedroom door on the outside walls, bought them instantly and moved on. So it's an added bonus to know now that it's limited. But it wouldn't have mattered cos it was a legendary authorised Haring at an even more legendary price print so there was no over-thinking there. I've bought dumber things by unknown/hyped up artists at 8 times more the price before anyway.

Maybe all auction houses do this (and I've been naive all this time) but I'm increasingly convinced Tate Ward buy things themselves just to auction.
I've tried to consign lowish value editions, and been turned down (because these items are available on eBay, etc), yet they'll happy auction cheap posters, and other low value editions that are exactly the same!

I have currently 1 in perfect conditions. This was the replacement of a first one that presents two creases (apparently bent when folding it to be placed in tube). I also have another one on its way (after I saw people going crazy for it) but it's for my brother in Italy.ย Sorry!
