This is either an incredibly unprofessional oversight by POW, or a disgusting lack of respect for their product and their customers! Why these weren't sent flat is totally beyond reason! They would no doubt have been able to penny pinch even more on postage than they already do also - becoming more and more disenfranchised with POW as time passes. I know it's not wise to trust everything one reads, but Mike is someone who speaks the truth as a general rule and I trust his word and knowledge more than I would almost any other members'.

All this POW bashing does get a bit tiresome.

Let me see POW use tubes.
They have done for sometime.
If a customer has a problem they help to resolve the issue.
If a customer leaves it in the tube - well i don't see pow in this sentence.
They run a tight - quite friendly service - providing art to you and others alike - that's quite a simple story.
Nothing complex or sinister there - HC ...

Agree. People speak about flat packaging like it is the be all and end all of packaging but it is so much more vulnerable to damage. I would much rather the print be rolled, tubed, and shipped properly. Assuming the piece is on typical stock.

If they are not rolled around itself more than twice, then you are fine. For this reason, I ship in a 5 or 6" diameter tube most of the time. Let's see, Gold Flag height equals 19.5", and a 5" diameter tube has a circumference of 15.7", so my gold flag has been rolled approx. 1.2 times. I'm sorry, but the chromalux paper that the gold flag was printed on wil not be damaged in the least by being rolled 1.2 times.

That was my Reaper on the bay for 5,250 (a fair price imo)
It's all very genuine , a lovely print in mint condition with Provenance from 1 careful original owner so buyer would not be dissapointed
I was offered 5.5k a few weeks back but he didn't bid till late on & missed out on his bid & have been offered 5k numerous times for it so wouldn't take a penny less than 5k (250) would've only covered my ebay/paypal fess
It's still for sale if anybody's interested plz Pm me !
