I expect it'll be more scarce although possibly less desirable as it's technically a second run.

Piggy banks sold out already! No longer available for collection or postage. Not surprised really as these are hand made in very small batches and seem to take forever to be released - I’m still waiting for one I managed to pick up earlier this year when Serpentine released a few more. Guess the Edinburgh purchased online ones could be delivery 2024 - or wonder if they actually had a limited number in the shop? Either way long gone now…. 

I had to call the National Gallery shop today to get a refund as I'd stupidly ordered the planter not realising it was Click and Collect only.

The guy I spoke to said that they weren't able to ship them as they were so fragile and that many of them had actually arrived damaged when they were sent to the gallery. What surprised me was that he said they were made and shipped from China. I'd thought (apparently wrongly) that these were more of an artisan item and made locally.

Not sure how I feel about the fact that these are an open edition, seemingly mass produced and at this price point. It makes the cost of the Ai Weiwei vase seem an absolute bargain in comparison.

Who knows how I missed it! That's why I said I 'stupidly ordered' it. Oh and the fact they did charge me shipping and confirmed my order by email.

That's interesting they say it's made in Stoke-on-Trent, that would make much more sense. I'm just relaying what the guy told me, not sure why he would make it up. Perhaps they just reused an old box to send them in! Who knows.

Grayson Perry Holburne Museum '100% Art' plate, mug and tea towel set

The gilded ceramic plate measures 21 cm in diameter (about 8 1/2'') and it is in immaculate condition. It is from the very first edition which was missing a couple of words (''Oh, but THE ONE I want...'') in the text. This error was rectified on subsequent editions. It bears the Grayson Perry and Holburne Museum emblems on the reverse. It was developed in 2020 in collaboration with Kit Grover for Grayson Perry's exhibition titled 'The Pre-Therapy Years'. The three items were purchased directly from the museum's online shop upon release. The original email receipt will be forwarded to the buyer. Asking $250 CAD / $180 USD
