Great idea of them to embrace art on trains and the small Haring wagon looks great on the bookshelf!
Might be that maerklin is simply not used to these kind of releases so maybe they weren’t aware of the methods you can use to ensure that everybody gets a fair shot. Brett Kern also received criticism though I think it was shown in the end that he simply wasn’t factoring in all the steps necessary to make a release seem fair 
Either way, I hope they’ll take it to heart and we all have a better shot at their next release.
(Though I can’t speak on how fast they actually went, some commented that it was minutes which is more time to grab something than I feel I had in a while)

I just criticized the fact that they allowed 3 per persons ( happy ti finish quickly with the sale : I told many friends about this drop today, and I missed the train because my computer was slow. 3 per persons ?! Can’t believe that )

But when you hear Marklin's boss on Instagram, you've got it all figured out when it comes to the business man, the marketting / packaging etc ... They have good communications experts there.
But their mail sent after the drop, telling us "it doesn't matter, you will have one for the 3rd series to come", is unwelcome and is the height of cynicism, haggling and condescension. If I like Haring, it's not to buy Picasso, Basquiat, Lichtenstein etc. Who will be their third artist? Warhol? Kaws (I don't like Kaws and anyway it's impossible, he is still alive with copyrights etc).
Anyway, it will never be Stik, Banksy or Invader ... Obey?
A lot on here and there did not bought these trains for the trains itselves, but to make a good flip (irony and cynicism too) ...
Of course, there are still the real collectors, to have a great bonus from the two fashionable artists , from today, Haring and Basquiat - and a very beautiful delux packaging - ...
Who will be the 3rd man? Another one to freak out this time and, without any regrets...

Why to precise that ?!

to show us that you carted one and not us.
The mentality on this forum as something changed ( again and again since discords ), I know flippers are everywhere and more and more active, but there are people or members that would like to get one tow.
Anyway I don’t make the morale but the day when I will sell Invader, Stik or Storm, etc … I will remember who was nice or not ( once again, it’s not against you but against these flippers hiding informations and sharing the infos in little committees.
i like this forum, I like UAA, respect to this exceptional forum where the spirit of the minds was something else in the old good years…

Since Discords clans and some flippers ( I don’t speak about you of course ), nobody have posted the link for the sale of yesterday ! Even Marklin sent a link after the sale ( nothing before ) , telling us that they were sold out. Now, you send a message as what you got one, after the battle : why ? to show us that you carted one and not us.
