By owning the tokens you own the art and the price would fluctuate with the value of the underlying asset (the art).
If it works like that then I think it's a cool different project, if it's just more normal NFTs then snore.
Either way I think Hirst will make bank from this.

Let’s be realistic. His hundreds of studio assistants are furiously and frantically painting circles on paper as we speak. The past seven days fall within ‘the last five years’.
The guy is a money maker and a marketer, my only worry is what this will do to his overall market. Value is based on scarcity, if everyone and their Nans postman can get a Hirst (7k+ fruitful/forever release, 7k+ cherry blossom release, 10k NFT release). Makes the Banksy Peckham Rocks look cheap...

Strange but true story. I was in Vegas for the Tyson vs Seldon fight that weekend in 1996. My brother and I were walking outside after the fight. We saw a ton of commotion, sirens, cops etc, and eventually we watched an ambulance hauling ass down the road. At the time we had no idea what was happening. Found out the next morning from a taxi driver that Tupac was shot. The ambulance we saw had Tupac in it.

My idea before was that it could be a crypto currency which is backed by the 10,000 artworks, in the same way that money used to be backed by gold. If it works like that then I think it's a cool different project, if it's just more normal NFTs then snore. Either way I think Hirst will make bank from this. They would be held at HENI (or somewhere else).
So NFT + physical object, but you don't get the physical object in person. Again, This could have been a dream I had 50/50.

I'd need more time to think about the effect it'd have on a particular segment of his market, but at the moment I can't see it being beneficial.
