give him your metamask details and your cc details, you then have it

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by cnrdvln on Jul 24, 2021 11:54:57 GMT 1, just my two cents, put these in cold storage the second they land. Too many horror stories of people getting robbed. Ledger is easy enough to manage Does that mean moving to another wallet? I'm new to nfts... Regarding value I hardly see these selling for less than 2k in the future. Plus we all keep thinking there will be 10k physical ones around, not so sure about that
it's a USB drive, physical thing. it just takes your NFT offline so no one can hack / rob it.
not needed but keeps it safe in your hands rather than a digital platform

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Balboa on Jul 24, 2021 11:58:30 GMT 1, If anybody with multiple successes would like to share the joy by passing one on then please let me know.
As one or two others may attest, I have passed things on myself shortly after release at cost when an easy profit could’ve been made.
Not holding out much hope but thought I’d ask.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Balboa on Jul 24, 2021 11:59:44 GMT 1, And did anyone get more than one in one application?
We have reports further back of a 3 from 3.
And apparently I won’t get far in life because I refused to apply more than once.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Terry Fuckwitt on Jul 24, 2021 12:03:42 GMT 1, No email for me. No disappointment though as it has been an enjoyable and fair release. I think it is a really good project and has been very polished, well put together and managed so far, which I think adds to the whole thing. Congrats to those who were lucky so far.
I expect you will get one soon, as well as most others that applied. If you go by the numbers applied for, it was about a one in four chance. It looks like most, if not all that applied for multiples, only received the opportunity to buy one. Then you will have others that applied with separate emails, but only want to purchase one. Odds are still good I reckon.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by ap0 on Jul 24, 2021 12:05:23 GMT 1, General question about framing: my piece doesn't have a regular border. Would framing with a mat covering a small amount of artwork (in order to have a clean border) be considered ok? Or does it risk to ruin the small amount of artwork that is underneath the mat?
Never got an original framed before...

How unsafe is it to just leave it in the metamask wallet?

If the texture is ranked so low, how can the weight be so high? 🤔

I just hate the idea storing something in a free software that needs a username and password to access. You can a leger under the bed or in a safe. A lot of crypto is held in cold storage to mitigate the risk of being robbed.

One question for any infosec guys, should people really be sharing which they won?

But as long as you use a really good framer then there shouldn't be any 'risk', however you want it framed.

Mine is called 'My Father Left Me' - quite like it!

Thanks for the reply. Showing the whole piece would definitely be more true to the artwork but the small dot kinda sticking out of it is throwing me off... Guess I'll evaluate when it arrives.
I guess that, even behind museum glass, the part of the artwork covered by the mat would change in color differently over time, therefore affecting the artwork and forcing to always keep the mat if you don't want to see the difference...

Signature and name on the back of these, so you would probably want to frame it in a way that this can be seen.

I intend to float mine, just as was said above. Key point worth emphasising, given you haven’t framed anything before is using a really good framer who understands the value of the piece and treats it accordingly, meaning the painting can be removed from its framing without damaging it ie archivally framed incase you wish to reframe or sell it. 2c. Edit Sorry just saw it’s not your first framing experience 🙃
