Apologies Richy Rich for the misunderstanding it was just a poor attempt to make fun of the previous comment since the nfts haven't been sent yet!

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by jimmyjam on Jul 29, 2021 10:28:41 GMT 1, “NFT holders will be able to download extremely high resolution images (10x the resolution of the images stored on IPFor Sale) of their NFTs from the HENI gallery by connecting their MetaMask wallet to prove ownership! We'll make this action available, soon.”
According to a heni moderator on discord.
NFTs could look amazing on a big screen. Always images on websites are compress and smaller than the originals by a lot. The original file they give you could be very large and enough to be displayed very well on large screens.

I am most likely to take a physical. The only thing which could realistically change that would be what if anything would holding the NFT entitle you to in the future. Access to additional drops etc?

Why display on a screen if it’s not animated? If you can download the hi res image then I assume the quality will be good enough so that you could get this professionally printed as a fairly large giclee

Most likely the quality from the site is not good enough to print professionally.
Usually they lower the pixels for websites.
You will want the original and the largest file to print.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Javier on Jul 29, 2021 10:42:26 GMT 1, Think what? Hirst nft will go for 100eth? Of course not. People in the crypto world spend insane amounts on mediocre nft „art“? That‘s a fact. I don't disagree with the mediocre comment but this is a different market looking at things from a different perspective. From what I can tell a lot of the crazy prices are more linked to heritage, legacy and rarity, and are either tech or 'investment' driven. They could reasonably look at what we would pay for Banksy, Stik, Invader originals on paper and, without any context of the history, classify those as 'mediocre'. The fascinating part of this is the clash of two completely different markets. And both have a different desired outcome (NFT or physical). The question; how many swap 'camps' during the exercise?
The perfect storm…

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Lord Lucas Roham on Jul 29, 2021 10:45:28 GMT 1, I feel I should bring you all back down to earth.
NO ONE is making big money from these NFTs. NO ONE is gonna sell for 10 ETH, These aren't Bitcoin and don't have a 20 Billion market cap.
I realise that the first rule of Crypto is that you pump your stock to infinity. That's also the second rule but let's get real here, these aren't going 'to the moon'.
I will be taking my physical print after 60 days and hanging on my wall.
I feel I should bring you all back down to earth.

Just to be precise, if they sell for 10ETH their market cap will be "only" $230M.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by FЯ on Jul 29, 2021 11:15:44 GMT 1, Honest Question.
If in 2 months the NFT was worth (example amount of around 10 ETH) £17,0000 and steadily traded.
but the physical print was only going for cost or below with nothing looking up
Would you keep NFT or get original.
Honest Question.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Terry Fuckwitt on Jul 29, 2021 11:18:17 GMT 1, It's all just a massive guessing game at the moment. Everyone knows the physical will have a certain maximum price point, but as NFT's, its a totally different ballgame. I hate all the NFT stuff and would have never applied if it wasn't for the physical option. However, if the market for the NFT seriously outweighs the physical, then unless you are loaded, it would be daft to take the physical option.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by avec art on Jul 29, 2021 11:26:40 GMT 1, I don't see why someone would sell the physical option, if they'd only just decided to keep that instead of the NFT.
People who are seeking maximum value will have a year to decide if they want the physical piece or NFT.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by avec art on Jul 29, 2021 11:44:07 GMT 1, it depends upon market conditions. I'm not convinced the physical option will be massively cheaper than the NFT on the secondary market.
If there was a discrepancy in price, the people could sell their NFT's and purchase the physical so they're left with crypto and an artwork. But if everyone thought that way it would have a levelling effect on the values of both of them.
They may be scenarios in the future (after a year) where the physical artwork holds a lot more value than the NFT!

If you want the original, in your scenario obviously sell the NFT and buy the original.
The above is called an arbitrage - hence what you wrote makes little sense.

I'd say it's fairly certain the NFT will be the only way these are sold (giving the buyer the option to choose), until the time limit on swapping is reached... then the real fun will start!

Doubt there will be many, but out of 9,000 I'm sure there will be a few that will try and be the first out the starting gate by getting one to auction.

Up to £15k, definitely keeping the original. Over £15k, I'd consider selling. Over £25k (no expectation of this), quite likely to sell the NFT as I could do a lot with that money.
The only thing I can't imagine doing is holding on to the NFT as a long-term investment. I don't have much interest in the NFT market or NFTs as art, beyond this project. By the end of the year I expect to have the original on the wall, or possibly have sold the NFT and cashed out.
