Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Wendero on Jul 30, 2021 10:15:12 GMT 1, I understand how to buy DAI, I need to use my credit card. But if finally I cannot purchase a work and I don't want to keep any DAI how can I get my funds back? Maybe reselling your DAI?

Not viewable on the wallet but viewable through Heni marketplace (or nifties) All seamless once I switched my wallet to Palm Net.
One question. Easy enough to buy through Metamask but can you withdraw your DIA or ETH through Metamask or do you have to send to an exchange and if so, any recommendations?
^ (EDIT) Answered above

Here we are folks. A collector who wants to buy but finds the process so intolerable it could stop him from buying.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by astarti on Jul 30, 2021 10:20:12 GMT 1, Open up the browser from the MetaMask app Go to Heni currency website (you can search for it from the browser Top right, open the menu and click on My NFTs Click on Connect Wallet Go back to My NFTs - it’ll say you have none. Near the bottom of the screen should be a button to Check Palm - click that, click okay or whatever. Now go back to My NFTs in the Heni website (viewed through the MetaMask browser) and it’ll be there. Thanks for all of this. I can now view my piece on Palm (and it is the right one), check the transactions for when it arrived in my wallet etc. However I still can't see it in my MetaMask wallet under "My NFTs", nor can I figure out how to transfer it anywhere - as usually I would have thought I would do this from my wallet? I've dabbled in crypto for 4-5 years and I'm a bit confused, loving the thought of people who just want a Hirst and have never touched crypto before navigating this! haha i have the same problem. i cannot see it from my wallet in the phone, however I can see it through my desktop. Have you checked to view it from a different device?

Sort by ‘New threads’. You’ll get most recently updated thread, not a list of recent posts.

The NFT preview is on neither desktop or mobile apps / extensions on metamask itself.
You have to use / login the desktop Metamask chrome extension and follow the instructions here if not already: app.palm.io/configure
Obviously you should have open the wallet you originally sent your NFT to for this to all sync
Then you will be able to view your NFT here: currency.nft.heni.com/owners/me
you simply just need your wallet logged in and go to that link above to see your NFT.
Remember your NFT is not stored on any device, its on the blockchain. All you need to have is your seed phrase to login on metamask on any device anywhere plus the link above
Once wallet connect into HENI owners page, you can download a 100mb image of front and back as well if you want or send to sell on the exchange

Asking on here is like going to the Apple store and asking for help with Windows.

If using mobile - You have to add the Palm network manually on the app (if you use configure link above on mobile app it tells you what to enter for that info). and then go to owners page link above after.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Atelier on Jul 30, 2021 11:11:32 GMT 1, Even if you are mildly tech / crypto savvy, this whole process is insanely confusing. Reminds me of completely confusing video games from the commodore 64 / early playstation era:
Like WTF!?:
"You can buy DAI directly with your credit card using the fiat onramp, or bring DAI tokens from the Ethereum network to palm using the token bridge. Using either method will reward you with PALM tokens."

What was the gas fee (in US dollars)? Absolutely no idea. I don't understand any of that part. I've only grasped the basics.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by FЯ on Jul 30, 2021 11:28:20 GMT 1, The more I read abut Metamask, Palm and other crypto stuff, the more I hate it. It's incredibly complicated and confusing. And I don't think I'm particularly dim (I have a first class honours degree). I can't wait to exchange the NFT for my artwork and then I will never look at NFTs ever again. it is because it is a world setup / run by developers
developers approaches are not know for being particularly user friendly to everyone else.
Buying bitcoin for example is now is 1000 times easier than it was 10 years ago.

For current owners, if you want to make money you're going to have to educate yourself on how NFTs work, how you sell them, and how cryptocurrency is different from normal cash. (I don't understand any of this currently)
If you just want the painting you don't really have to do anything. You can just forget the whole thing for two months, then tell Heni you want the painting.
For buyers, you have to learn how to buy NFTs or wait to buy a painting the traditional way, but with the gamble that prices may rise before paintings are available.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bernard on Jul 30, 2021 11:36:52 GMT 1, I'm pretty up on NFT's and crypto and I'm still finding this all a right faff. It's an interesting project and I'm chuffed I got one but despite my faith in crypto and generally low level of risk aversion I'm 100% going to get the painting. For me, it's a case of owning the memory of a painting that's been burnt or owning the painting - feels like a no-brainer... The NFT thing all feels a bit '3D TV' to me...

Using either method will reward you with PALM tokens."
Agreed. I’ve been trying to follow it very carefully and consider myself reasonably tech savvy, but this is all so confusing. So confusing that I can’t ever see crypto-NFT being adopted more widely unless things change. Makes me even more determined to go for the physical in 2 months and be done with this nonsense.
Even if you are mildly tech / crypto savvy, this whole process is insanely confusing. Reminds me of completely confusing video games from the commodore 64 / early playstation era: Like WTF!?: "You can buy DAI directly with your credit card using the fiat onramp, or bring DAI tokens from the Ethereum network to palm using the token bridge. Using either method will reward you with PALM tokens." Agreed. I’ve been trying to follow it very carefully and consider myself reasonably tech savvy, but this is all so confusing. So confusing that I can’t ever see crypto-NFT being adopted more widely unless things change. Makes me even more determined to go for the physical in 2 months and be done with this nonsense.
