I'm tired of being exposed to this annoying article. There is no fraud. Nobody has their eyes closed and nothing illegal was done. He who is without sin may cast the first stone and there is no doubt in anyones mind that JPS has been a very naughty boy in the past. Why don’t we get an article exposing JPS for all his previous wrongdoing?

Probably most of you noted this, but I’m just going to throw this out there - I was watching the video again and thinking about that funny little accordion cover of “Dance Monkey” as the soundtrack. The accordion may reference the accordion player of the bus shelter dancers piece. The monkey seems to reference B himself, I’m guessing. As I looked at the lyrics again, I thought maybe he’s talking about himself and how the public often demands more of his work and how he always has to perform for us, the audience. The pressure not to disappoint us. Also, I didn’t know the song was written by a street artist, a street performer, a busker named Toni Watson (aka Tones and I) in Australia. So that’s another cool tie-in. Here’s some info I saw on Wikipedia about her and the song that I thought was interesting: When interviewed by DJ Smallzy in July 2019 on Australian radio station Nova FM, Tones explained that Dance Monkey's lyrics are about the relationship she had with her audience when she was busking (street performing) on the streets of Australia: "I wrote this song when I was busking, and about the pressure that I felt to always be entertaining people on the street. And if they didn't like it, when they looked at their phones they could just click something else; ... we are all so used to being entertained at the click of a button." I thought the statue was lapping a beer. My kids corrected me on that and the tongue made more sense in that context. The innocent version of his assaults on other statues.  Also, I had missed the binocular telescope connection in the photo of the raft piece. Faraway, so close or thereabouts was the title.

Fact is, everyone who claims they bought a Banksy because of the talented skills and how amazing it's painted, is a liar. It's all about his market and I doubt that a lot of collectors who bought prints for 100 k and have now something that's worth half, agree with you.

Love the video (thanks for posting), really ties them all together.
I'm an old fella who enjoys them, talking to my 11 year old God daughter earlier, she was all over them, genuinely enthused, then spoke to her 81 year old Grandad, even he was going on about them.
Great job Mr B, brilliant work, so many people will get a great deal from your Spraycation.
Just my 2 cents, and not the biggest Banksy fan around, but think there are so many positives about all these pieces, I really enjoy all of them, and will make the trip to see.

Anyway what I don’t like here ( would prefer a tag ) is that the guy toying The artwork has surely found his own idea « genius ».

It’s not fact about people only buying art for the market… I was buying mine for £60 at Art Republic because I liked the art.. that’s the fact. People can join the train when they like, just don’t judge!
