Great job for Banksy team

The chips in the skip look like they have been cut from styrofoam so could have been cut by Banksy himself. Brilliant! Keep an eye on ebay for Banksy chips.... £10k each.

Think what looks like chips are (100mm)insulation batts, very clever. Celtex ect.

Has the process of permission for the large murals on the sides of houses etc ever been discussed on here?

Scaffold, Skip and contents installation has all been planned with the seagull work.

Obviously, team Banksy gain permission for these type of works but how? It's amazing really.

It would make better business sense for Banksy to buy the building, paint a work on the side (no permission required) then admit to it, immediately protect it, chop it out and flog it. Like buying a 'doer upper' but without all the usual drama haha.

The majority of removed wall sections all seem to end up in the hands of the same people so might that actually be happening already even?

the seagul does not looks like others, I don't know why, well realized of course and I like it, was it the same man that painted it ? .. More clear with orange painting and well, of course, it's Banksy..

It's funny I think that - not only for these ones - when there are people on the photo as under the bust stop etc - , the artwork is more powerful and " living ", as a part of our life or art in our life, outside ! It makes sense !

( same with other street-artists, as Stinkfish par example in Bristol ( in restauration at the moment ) when you see people in the street, cars ( as it's in a carrefour /roundabout ) etc...

Locations, spots are the best in street-art and graffiti, almost with people on it - as figurant in movies.
I remember the kitty per example in Gaza with the kids...

I don't troll the thread, just trying to say that the environment is important and that street-art or urban art or call it as you want, need to be on great spots, not hidden ones...
