Neither. "Mid-career" would be the most accurate description.
Claire Tabouret has some ideas I find interesting.
My gripe with her work is from an aesthetic perspective: It's appealing to me but feels derivative โ especially of other female artists. The influences are too obvious. When looking at a Tabouret painting, I'll typically immediately think of Chantal Joffe, Elizabeth Peyton and/or Marlene Dumas.
That said, Tabouret also appears to be internet and Instagram savvy, which at least has potential to take an artist reasonably far.
