In fact we are paying for uk customs + for France customs ( wtf ?! )
I cancelled my wanted Rogue signed Jamie Reid book from L13 at 95 quid + 18 shipping : afraid to have a billion pounds to pay if I want it !!!
( 20 % out + 20 % in , these taxes is a real nightmare! No more culture, no more art, no more literature : only TV/Covid/gossips/fishing/politic/fisching/economic and personal fight between governments er etc .,,

Recently I won a book from a gallery in UK, DHL took me 15โฌ <-- with taxes 17,5โฌ + taxes 10โฌ = 27,5โฌ... I didn't expect that.
Last month DHL charge me a lot for some deliveries everything at 20% some in fact would be 5,5% without customs (from outside UE for original art). The funny things each times they call me to pay the bills (customs and taxes) otherwise no deliveries... They gave me a lot of address to write (customs, dhl etc...) and told me to pay and contest later lol so fed up with them I gave up (just give them the โฌโฌ).
When the gallery or seller didn't wrote correctly the description this is the begin of all trouble.

Got it signed in pen blue too! Love it, new book for bedroom "lecture". To be honest don't know much about him thats why I bought the book.
It tooks me a lot of times recently to read the keith haring monograph from rizzoli but every art books my preference is in english (not my mother language and you saw it I'm not confortable), most of them bought before brexit it was cheaper. For me it was the good times, love reading!
Before collecting art, I was a collector of us comics.
