I mean you could of easily named yourself bozo but that name was already taken.
Without going into a slagging match I find it strange why you would call yourself Banksy Hates Me, just seems so wrong to have the word hate in there. (Yes I know why you used it) I wonder did the owner of the Heritage lot bid it up themselves    -No slagging match. You are easy to talk to, even if we do not always agree..... The way it should be.ย -I know you know why, but I'll answer for the sake of the thread. All the good names were taken; Mrs. Banksy, Not Banksy, The Real Not Banksy, WCP, Banksy Deluxe Editions, and of course Banksy's 3rd cousin.ย J/K!ย BHM just seemed like a pretty straight forward way to mock myself for what I am doing. I know many take this uber-serious, but clearly I don't and I wanted to shed light on that right out of the box (or in this case, poorly copied stencil).ย I will add for the forum, those that are truly against it all, should just ignore me. Take Mrs. Banksy, people talk tons of shit, I get it. In the end ALL that does is fuel their sales and exposure. To some degree, the statement " There is no bad publicity" stands true.ย - A far as Heritage Auction goes, I have no idea. I hope that is not the case. But no one was more surprised than me to see where it went. PEOPLE WILL BUY ANYTHING!

My powers of comprehension are rather more advanced than you assume and this makes you sound foolish. You have no idea of the people who frequent these environs and their connections. no, lorraballs! it is you that is mistaken...
It seems someone in Buffalo has fried their brain. There is a j'en sais quois about this forum that makes it so special. This latest one takes it all the way to the Twilight Zone (which isn't necessarily a bad thing every now and again).
Can the creator of this thread answer a quick question? You're passing Banksy's art off under the name 'Banksy Hates Me.' Banksy seems like a decent bloke. He does good deeds and is quite generous from what I can tell. Does Banksy hate you or are you creating an artificial affiliation? I feel that Banksy probably feels indifferent toward you. Maybe doesn't spend any time on it at all...hasn't considered you, ignored your emails because they were a bit aggressive for his tastes. Maybe he didn't have time to reply as I assume he gets hundreds of thousands of emails each year. Maybe you need to look inside you. Maybe there is a bit of hatred that you feel toward Banksy because he doesn't direct enough energy your way. Maybe you feel that he should compensate you for protecting 'Girl with Umbrella' and he hasn't. Maybe you need to work under the moniker 'I Hate Banksy' and let the rest of us be consumed by the irony that you are copying his images. Point being, I feel this endeavor wasn't thought all the way through, it was hastily cobbled together without enough Banksy wit in it.
It is odd to look at a Banksy image and then having it say 'Banksy Rates/ Hates Me' on it. I like to think that deep down, Banksy loves us all.
Second question (and you have to be honest here), how many emails have you sent to Banksy???
Editing to add a third question: The execution of the 'Power Monkey' is okay, needs a touch of work, but not bad. Why wouldn't you just come up with your own 'base' image and actually branch out in an attempt to become your own street artist?

To then refer to it as 'Umbrella Girl' and not the title the artist gave it, NOLA is also bold. To then copy said artists work for commercial sale as well as use their name/tag to imply they have ever had an emotianal reaction as strong as hate towards you when in reality they probably don't even recognise your existance is a tad arrogant. Aren't there any charities in your area that you could work for or need volunteers?
Copying is easy, coming up with your own ideas is where it's at, good luck with that though.

There's only a select few who could out banksy. It's already confirmed who he is, but unless someone like Laz or 3d etc confirmed it, it means nothing. This guy may have helped protect a Banksy work (which he was thanked for), but the truth is he is just a dealer hawking work on eBay and via other channels and now seeking to massively profit off Banksyโs name.
Read the story on his insta (if he does not take it down) about pissing on Banksyโs shoe off a bridge in Bristol...you canโt make this stuff up!
