I can't understand why the quantities are so limited.
If the product would be made available for one hour, everyone would benefit from this.
Every collector could order, it would reduce the immediate resales on Ebay or StockX.
The scarcity that is built from nothing in the urban art world is really getting annoying to anyone trying to grow a collection. It makes everything go in the direction of short profit over the interest of the prints / toys etc.
Well that's not a big deal but I think it's really a wrong direction and the artists could really play a role in this; time realeased edtion with edition size based on the orders received during a period of time solves almost everything...

It was VERY easy to score during a KAWS drop in 2009 and earlier. Started to become difficult 2012 on.

It's all a scheme. They don't want to reduce values...so they make it super limited. Most of this stuff is already spoken for.
