Thierry Noir • Crocodile Print, by Wanchope on Oct 17, 2021 20:48:23 GMT 1, Hey All, I was considering putting in my crocodile print ( green background with orange crocodile) into an auction. It’s in mint condition and out of 50. However, I know what I paid a few years ago, but don’t know what it would be honestly worth now. Any ideas would be gratefully received. It’s so crisp and I see the noir market has gathered some pace that unless the figure is truly worthwhile I may continue to just hold on to it. Hence asking any collectors out there on it’s true worth
Thanks for your time

It might pain you to discover that the majority of commentators here now harbour bitter hatred and brooding malice towards Thierry Noir owing to the recent upward market moves old sport.
Now chap, when you utter the term auction are you talking about eBay and conducting your business out of your garden shed like other Noir sellers have done? Or just as bad offering it up to those rotters over at Tate Ward?
Phillips and Christie's are now selling Noir's work old sport. Hadn't you heard? The Christie's sale has been pumped a lot here in recent days by yours truly. Did you miss it? Do yourself a favour chap and take your Crocodile to one of those fine establishments. Forthwith are some handy hyperlinks www.christies.com/departments/Prints-Multiples-44-1.aspx and www.phillips.com/editions.

But you are not planning on conducting an eBay sale from your hallway floor are you chap? Better to let Christie's or Phillips have a crack at it!

As for going to my shed, I’m not understanding why anyone would place it in a shed. Too weird, but thanks for your guidance I guess

Unfortunately the only place for Thierry noir is the garden shed at the moment.

Mark my words! Not sure about your floor being the Noir print floor though chap as clean as it may be. Best place all round for the Noir print floor is the wall of a major auction house. Wouldn't you say chap?
Soon Noir prints will be regular features in the print sales of Phillips, Christie's and Sotheby's chap. So do yourself a favour old sport and pen a communique to the prints department of one of them. Forget about your garden shed and the likes of Tate Ward. You are better than that and so is Noir much to the dismay of the average plebs such as Art100 within this plenary. Oh and thank me later old sport

Thierry Noir • Crocodile Print, by Fairxat on Oct 17, 2021 22:38:39 GMT 1, Hey All, I was considering putting in my LAMA print ( green background with orange LAMA) into an auction. Hence asking any collectors out there on it’s true worth Thanks for your time more fitting

Nothing of similar style has come to the market recently to compare to, Appeal different to the classic heads Seems Thierry noir is setting the recent market prices so probably best to ask him directly what value he places on it via Instagram, he answers quite promptly Or place on eBay at £800 to attract bidders and its true market worth will climb

Do you not concur that contacting an elite art marketplace like Christie's would be a prudent course of action for OP? With a venerable institution such as Christie's at OP's side and the Christie's rolodex optimal ROI would be generated for OP. Am I wrong old sport?
