Even at $50... I wouldn’t buy a Fairey print. Guess that’s why I don’t shop at H&M

3 or 4 products - yes products, a bit harsh innit ? ;-) - per weeks! He is everywhere and everybody buy... But one day, they, we will see that only his first artworks had his personnal and special taste, as a an agitator or activism, as Andre etc... It was really brilliant ! Legend artworks ...
Now photoshop after photoshop etc etc ...
I wonder why we buy ? Hype ? We cosnume... We buy what he, we denounced before, the consumer society, the globalization, which we condemned before, the art market so ....

It's a significant bump on the edition size, but they know they have a strong image on hand. Also, edition size is often brought up, but overrated compared to the frequency of the releases. It hurts an artist's desirability, collectability etc. way more imo. I'd rather see an edition size bump, especially for a strong image, though it could be the new standard for him in this case going forward, than see an artist pumping out new editions twice as fast as his output used to be. That will flood his market more.

Managed to buy one of these prints yesterday after telling myself not to buy anything else this month. I have always wanted a decent classic Paul Insect print and know they are quality. Also really like AvanteArt.
I thought it’s a high price with everything but know there is very strong interest in US unlike some of the other UK artists I collect.
