The lure of being able to buy a unique artwork by established and unknown artists (and the inevitable guessing game) echoes that of the RCA postcards with the added bonus of some choice 7" vinyl, which dictated that people were camping overnight and a number of keen forum members were in the thick of this years eager crowd...
I rocked up at 6:40-ish and was about 11th in line, and was in the second wave of those let into the venue to race to my choice of the 700 1/1 7" sleeve artworks...
Needless to say the Gilbert & George, Ai Wei Wei, Candice tripp, Paul Insect etc went quickly... although everyone was making an educated guess at the artist responsible!?
I didn't do badly though...
Adding a cross-stitched Pete Fowler 'Benny & the Jets' single to last years painted 7".
The cherry on my Vinyl cake was this hand stenciled/painted Paul Insect, Public Enemy 'Harder than you think?' 7".
A good day all round despite the early frosty start.

As always the waiting was made a lot shorter by the great people in the queue.
Also managed to get one of the DJ Shadow vinyls from the previous years show which I'm almost as happy about. Good to meet some old and new friends, Nippa, Speebe, Kings and a few of the RCA regulars.
My little haulโฆ
