They’re fine if they’re playing the long game. You’ll see exactly the same with her decent prints as what happened with Damien Hirst’s spot prints. It’ll be a while though.

Greenpeace • 50 Years, by kfroms on Sept 23, 2022 17:46:39 GMT 1, That may be true , I was more aiming at short term flipping. There is a lot of new Emin stuff out there and the most recent auction results have all been a bit lacklustre ( which is not a bad thing as such )

I can't possibly justify buying any more Emin prints ( unless she comes up with something really breathtaking ) Next work by her will be an original Would love an original one day. Good luck with the search. I think today’s print looks great. Congrats to those who bought.

It is lovely, and not overly expensive for a piece of this size produced in this way. And the great thing about Billy is that he continues to produce beauiful work at a range of prices in various formats - the L-13 prints are incredible value for someone looking for his work at the other end of the price spectrum.

Greenpeace • 50 Years, by caturra on Sept 28, 2022 20:38:35 GMT 1, Last day to apply the 20% discount, so I couldn't resist ordering the Cassi Namoda print, my personal favourite. And Stanley Whitney for 2k seems like a fair price, although the motive does not get me too excited. Seeing it live would surely change my opinion however

Greenpeace • 50 Years, by samg on Oct 23, 2022 1:04:11 GMT 1, Been a Childish fan for a while and was hoping for one of his landscapes. This is texturally similar from top to bottom, but still lovely. My print number is roughly a third of the way through the run. Don't know if Counter Editions send these out progressively or randomly. I did get the 20% discount having ordered straight after the release. Very pleased to have one!
