I sent an inquiry to Blackwood to see how they came to arrive at that offer price. They โheard ofโ another one selling privately at that price so because they โheardโ of one selling that high (without โseeingโ it happen or being part of the transaction) $15.5k was the new ground floor price.
Itโs looking like itโs still up on Artsy unsold. Maybe โhearingโ of one sell for $15.5k was bullshit after all. I got offered a good number for mine. Not 15.5k but a very nice offer. Iโm HODLING.

I'm very grateful to have been ignored or denied by some galleries in 2022 for hyped artists. They've plummeted since then. Thank you to those galleries for saving me money๐. |
