Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by archstanton on Feb 9, 2022 9:07:17 GMT 1, So would It be correct to say that there are less physical pieces than the virtues combined and less digital editions than the currency? No, it would be correct to say there are more physical pieces than Virtues and there are 0 digital editions. There are only physicals with a different production date. [br
But the ‘physicals with a different production date’ or nft deeds are going to be traded as an nft would be for the next 3 years? They have a placeholder page on opensea already I think.

I'd say more like 99% didn't view - which is no different to any other print / edition release.
What's more interesting with DH is how many actually have an interest in the image itself and how many just treat it as a commodity - suspect its a 70/30 in favour of commodity

That will eat into these by £400 odd. Then they will have to pay vat and delivery.

NFT was a strange choice and ultimately ends up costing more than the physical which you still end up with at somepoint.
The smart money went on the physicals 😀

Either way, I'm very pleased to have gotten a signed Hirst which will stay on my wall for a good while. Also, I don't have any idea as to how NFTs work, so I stuck with the old adage 'if you don't understand it, don't invest in it' and got a physical edition.

It's about 100USD to bridge your DAI on Palm to Ethereum as well, should you want to ever cash out

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by klyde on Feb 9, 2022 10:46:33 GMT 1, How many will be in the final edition?
The edition sizes for The Empress will be limited in time and by demand. The number of editions ordered in the purchase window will determine the final size of the edition. For example, if 100 prints are ordered within the time window, the edition will be limited to just 100. Each edition will be uniquely numbered and hand-signed on the label by the artist.
All on the website. No debate needed.

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by Happy Shopper on Feb 9, 2022 12:08:12 GMT 1, These values were stated as the edition numbers. Wu Zetian is two editions of 1,284 and 1,569 or one edition of 2852? I understood it was the latter - we are certain of that? It will be one edition size per image (i.e. initial physical + Deeds). At the end of the three years, it is possible that a small percentage of the deeds default, and the total edition is never manufactured…so even though the sticker will say the edition number X out of ~3000, in reality the available physical edition will be less. Heni reserve the right to do whatever they want with the defaulted deeds, including re-selling them at higher prices, donating them to charity for free PR or tax reasons, or not even manufacturing them at all. Let’s face it, a lot can happen in three years - Heni might not even exist as we know it. I also wonder if some have been "bought" by HENI themselves, to even up the numbers, but may never be actually produced (or will be drip fed to the market later). Sounds a little odd, but the numbers of each being so even feels suspicious.

Could be a large amount of sales in 3 years time when NFT holders face a VAT bill or selling up before the time period runs out

Relatively few of the 10,000 Currency (9000 in circulation) have actually been sold. 3233 sales (and I expect that's a lot of the same ones being sold multiple times)
