Fake news PEMA - not quite sure what you agenda is?
I'm offering 3k (in GBP not USD) for a physical and I've not been offered a single one. If there was any panic from owners of these my inbox would be flooded by now.

Offering under cost for something that isnt due for another few months isnt the same market as people who deal in crypto currencies.

I don’t think it’s really a bad call on Pema’s part, at least on the NFT token which can already be had for less than 3K USD ( which if Artfan was serious about buying up should work out under 3K GBP for the physical). These won’t be going up for a bit as I say many people bought thinking they were regular NFTs and will be paperhanding to buy into other projects

"😆 couple of hundred bucks - more like a couple of thousand."
"Hirst's work doesn't decrease in value - pretty simple really. The only two unknows here is the addition sizes and what secondary market prices will be going forward, but they certainly won't be below release price, or anywhere near to it."
Moral of the story is I can buy them right now for less than release price - less than you paid for yours. And its not an "option to purchase" it IS a purchase.
Perhaps, you are correct regrading physicals. But NFT's were always part of the rules. Don't worry, you are still going to make your money (in the long run) but perhaps next time you won't be so blindly confident.

Clearly a lot got bought just to flip (in the same way as NFTs)... plus a timed edition, and having an online market place made specifically to list them for sale, was always going to have this effect. Time will tell where they settle.

I would wait until they hit 2K, but be prepared to lose some in the short run. Could set a new low for Hirsts prints. As written, I could see them go all the way down to 1K when flippers start panicking

No blind confidence here - Hirst's price only ever go up, that's fact not fiction!
Ignore these mickey mouse options to purchase. Once the physical's get delivered we will see them in Auctions around the world selling for many thousands over initial cost.
Even the NFT's that appear "cheap", add on costs, VAT and delivery and all is not what it seem's

I don't think that will last for ever but right now it seems like a good deal if you want in.

Even the NFT's that appear "cheap", add on costs, VAT and delivery and all is not what it seem's The year is 2023, Artfan2011 and Riotcops are in their respective homes enjoying their Damien Hirst Empress print hanging beautifully on the wall.

Riotcops thinks to himself, "I'm so glad I chose the Mickey Mouse option and paid 80% of primary".
The fact, these have and are selling below cost at this very moment makes your statement of "fact" a real head scratcher. Perhaps, "Hirst's price only ever go up" after they go down just a bit? The VAT and delivery also applies to those who bought physical.
Anyhow, I wish you all the best with your future flip - I do sincerely believe the physicals will do well. However, my prediction to be able to buy one of these below cost after the release proved accurate.

Who cares really, its glitter printed on some plastic aluminium diasec something or other. Really poor overall. It may or may not sell in the future for more than the original price which is entirely irrelevant. Anyone could buy it, it's not limited and has been done so many times before. Most of them look like like rugs to be honest.

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by Riotcops on Feb 25, 2022 0:06:27 GMT 1, The year is 2023, Artfan2011 and Riotcops are in their respective homes enjoying their Damien Hirst Empress print hanging beautifully on the wall. Artfan2011 thinks to themselves, "I'm so glad I purchased this piece primary for $3500, it has appreciated greatly". But it was nothing more than some friendly banter between myself and Artfan2011 from 15 pages ago when discussing future pricing - so, imo this was entirely relevant.
They are, however, limited - albeit there are a few of them

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by snoozy on Feb 25, 2022 0:25:41 GMT 1, Different question (although it may of been brought up over the ages of pages). Why would you buy from someone on Ebay, for something they don't have... you must pay straight away, but in months or whenever the physical print is available.... is the seller still around? Is that not a crazy gamble or a money making scam? Seems very dodgy, any views?

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by vei on Feb 25, 2022 0:42:57 GMT 1, No blind confidence here - Hirst's price only ever go up, that's fact not fiction! Ignore these mickey mouse options to purchase. Once the physical's get delivered we will see them in Auctions around the world selling for many thousands over initial cost. Even the NFT's that appear "cheap", add on costs, VAT and delivery and all is not what it seem's You would have paid VAT and delivery if you'd purchased the physical from HENI in the first place, the fact is you can still buy the NFT at below cost and exchange it for a physical and you will have paid less than someone who bought the physical directly. I don't think that will last for ever but right now it seems like a good deal if you want in.
There’s a war in Europe There are more important/relevant things to discuss Cash is king In war people buy gold.

Damien Hirst H10 • The Empresses, by J0NNY on Feb 25, 2022 12:13:22 GMT 1, Is there any other cost in buying one of these Expresses on Heni in nft form other than postage if redeemed for physical? Thank you! Bear in mind, you can't buy one with your credit card. You have to buy some sort of crypto-currency to pay for it. And, like buying foreign currency, there's always a charge involved. And the exchange rate can fluctuate dramatically in just a few hours. You then have to pay "gas fees" on top of that. It will cost you much more than just paying for the postage. And the worst thing of all, is that you can't really work out beforehand how much it will actually cost you in total.
This is in part true for Opensea, not so much on Heni though where there currency used is always 1 to 1 with the USD. The only fees will be negligible.

Anyone who buys and sells art understands that the early flips make the money. Let's see where this is in 12 months time when the flippers have driven the market into the ground. That is complete garbage, I've bought stacks of pieces off flippers straight after release that I missed out on and done much better long term than the guy making a quick turn. Art is long term game generally and people who focus too much on the whims of the market as opposed to the prospects and future legacy of an artist deserve their medicore returns.

Almost makes you want to stop buying. Funny thing when they continuously expanded the money supply for 20 years at the clip they have. It creates inflation.
It would be great if everyone stopped feeding the flippers and let them starve.
