Glasgow Children's Hospital Art Auction 2022, by mcgill14 on Feb 1, 2022 17:13:24 GMT 1, Back in 2020 I organised an art auction for Glasgow Children's Hospital that raised an amazing ยฃ46000 which made a massive difference to the hospital and the kids at an incredibly difficult time for charities.
In September 2022 the charity celebrate their 20th anniversary and they have approached me to ask if I would be happy to organise another art auction. So who am I to say no.....
The auction will take place on 13th November and again the lovely team at McTear's Fine Art auctioneers in Glasgow will be hosting the event. In the same way as we did in 2020 the event will also receive media and online coverage.
I already have the first items, 2 Instagram Psycolourgy prints from the very lovely Nick Smith.
If any of you lovely UAA people know of any artists, galleries or individuals who would be prepared to donate a piece of art to support the 2022 event then please message me. I am hoping the 2022 auction will be even bigger than the 2020 event. It's thanks to the generosity of artists and people like you that the 2020 event was such a success.
I know November is a long way off but these things take a lot of work to pull together so I make no apology for kicking this off now.

However what is even better is that I have had another 9 artists confirm that they will donate a piece of art to the auction, taking me to 39 in the first week of launch.
It's an incredible start and if anyone out there would like to help you know where I am.
