I think she has incredible technical ability and some of the pieces are so detailed it blows my mind. That said she's come this far in her career purely on exposure from Instagram. Works start at 10k usd and she doesn't do prints only original drawings. Interested to hear others views on the work.

Clearly we both agree on the technical ability, so she can draw anything she likes. Maybe she's drawing to her audience slightly (the Yankees cap springs to mind). Although the number of people searching for a Rampant Rabbit to put on their wall can't be that big.
I watched a Ted Talk she gave and in her past she was a big consumer of Luxury goods. She had an epiphany which led her to sell everything and start to draw. She's obviously exploring this theme in her work. Her career has taken off purely from exposure on Instagram driven by in my opinion people's approval and interest in her work.

Think your right they must have been drawings but they were up in the coolhunter shop a few years ago, her work just stood out from the rest. But as it's not a gallery at the time to me it come across like art you buy from IKEA or habitat if you know what I mean. Her success has probably meant more success for other artists in their shop.

Do you know if there are still some available at the exhibition? No, all Originals were sold out before the exhibition. Past buyers bought nearly all drawings before the pre-selling started. There were only 3 or 4 left. They sold within 2 minutes at the pre-selling. I managed to get one out of two medium sized drawings in a custom color, which was not easy at all. |
