Think it's a fair request if you were a completist and wanted your art with all the accompanying artifacts. I would still explain to any potential buyers that you purchased the tube at a later date.

I was once on the Northern Line late at night, with a bloke passed out on the middle row of seats. Suddenly he came to, bolt upright, slammed his hand to his mouth and projectile vomited..... the gaps between his fingers acting as a sort of pressure hose, as the contents sprayed all over the carriage.
That was a pretty smelly tube.
