Just another Troll. Move along! I feel it would be a far better place if pointless comments weren't allowed to derail sales posts. If you feel it valid and worth pointing people to Wolfgangs thats fine but go and create another thread and do your bickering elsewhere. Thank-you.
Oh do calm down Dear with your starched comments
If You don't want people to remark on your sales posts, take it to ebay
And relax a bit and breathe before slurring people or you may come across as a bit of a wanker!
Maybe sales isn't your thing?

I actually paid more and have spent further on quality framing. So the purpose of your post was what exactly? The purpose of my post was - quite obviously - to inform the entire membership of this forum that the item you're selling is available elsewhere for significantly less than you're asking.

Don't take offence when members offer alternatives and good information. Unfortunately some people take the great info shared here when it suits them and become abusive when it doesn't.

When people list things for 3-5x market or marked up when not sold out or for double a day after the drop while claiming their baby momma had a heart attack and was hit by a car, people call the post out.
In this case you are selling for 3-4 retail that is not sold out. people deserve to know that. If they wish to pay for your frame they can. I bet they wont.
The only people who whine are the sellers who are called out for ridiculous pricing. I never see anyone pricing low complain about comments. In this case somone can buy for 99 or pay you 300+ Hmmm

., by Wanchope on Apr 8, 2022 9:51:31 GMT 1, Honestly I don’t understand why this has even escalated. The OP is trying to sell something. It has been framed and if someone wants it let them approach the seller. I don’t think it’s cricket to send a link to the prints that are still available. So whenever someone sells would you like them to point out other sellers, retailers etc. I think not!
It’s a bit like when someone jumps on another’s thread to say they also have one for sale - not cricket.
Ps if you don’t agree with a price then move on. Sometimes people here stick their noses into others business too much. A recent example is a piece was offered at a sensible price, I approached the seller and he said a few on UAA said he’s underselling ( even though he would be getting 500% more than the purchase price a year ago). So now it remains unsold, great advice from the forum members who again seem to know everything.

I agree with you that jumping on someone’s For Sale thread to sell your own item is not good etiquette, however I do believe that if the item can be found elsewhere at source or from a gallery or even on ebay for less it’s more than fair to point out. After all we should be looking out for each other and it’s a given in this game that Framing does not add value to any print almost ever.

I hear you and quite right to share info as that’s what we are all here for. However, a lot of us do want framed pieces ( I think my last count was 50 odd pieces up on my walls and most of them costing between £200 and £500 so to some people the framing def does add value ( as long as you like the framing job in question). Prob a good idea to post the photos up like another member said.

For historical purposes, it is hard to recoup framing costs when reselling work.

I agree with this
Without wanting to further this too much
When people buy and sell things both parties want to be satisfied. Detail is important when selling as is replying to comments why something is what it is to justify the cost
This items posted on this thread maybe good value
Take the Wolfgang, they are currently $99, plus courier plus import. Then You have the framing, the OP says archival (which wasn't mentioned in the opening post) so how much? without knowing from the OP let's guess at £200.
Plus it includes being couriered within the UK, so includes postage and packing
The sell price is £350, is that expensive after all the costs? I don't think so. The buyer gets a ready to hang cool bit of art without having to worry about framing, import charge etc
I think a lot of the time on sales threads comments and statements can be misconstrued and require an explanation from the seller.
If the OP had of taken the time to explain the detail rather than derail his own sales thread then things would a lot 'nicer'

I am in a sale industry whereby most of my competitors are sharks and falsify imo what they are selling. Be straight up, put a reasonable price tag on it ( not what auction houses achieve) a good description and 1.) it will sell 2.) won’t attract negative comments.
Now it’s time to get back to the Masters woohoo!!
