INVADER Rubikcubist Exhibition MIMA, by briw on Jan 8, 2023 18:12:32 GMT 1, Just picked up the Rubikscubist book from Mima, they had tons of them left by the look of it. As for the book, it's really well done, very hefty. It feels much better quality than the 4000 book.

INVADER Rubikcubist Exhibition MIMA, by Light hearts on Jan 11, 2023 5:18:57 GMT 1, Got mine today too, unfortunately only the outside fedex box was delivered with nothing inside. Never had that before, contacted them and I guess that takes me out of the running for the signed copy. hopefully theyโll replace. Want to be fair to Mima and so updating here. They offered a refund or replacement and filed a ticket with FedEx. Seems fair to me and I went for the replacement as the posters are cool Invader pieces at a very reasonable cost.

Thatโs what I have found tooโฆ And I spoke with some mates knowing Invader, they criticized a bit this commercial way that Invader has taken. Per example I bought these posters and I did not wanted them since the beginning. Doping the sales with โ one signed poster will be hided amongst the 10 โ , is clearly like an advertisement that we usually find in the supermarkets with the โ offers โ of the month ! so I bought a pack because of that. But itโs not a very artistic gesture. Postcards are not so exceptional too. Hirst sold at lovely Cartier packs of envelopes in great packaging โฆ Anyway just to say that the Rubikcubist book wonโt be available before February in fact. have a nice day ! ( Newar, you have still the 4000 invitation ? Or another one wanting to trade )

INVADER Rubikcubist Exhibition MIMA, by Carcal on Mar 2, 2023 11:01:38 GMT 1, Ok dear friends, Iโm sorry if my english is not good. Iโm writing for share with you my incredibile experience at the MiMa this friday. Iโm from Italy and I decided to visit the exhibition some months ago, just waiting for a good price flight. So I found a flight from Rome to BXL for about 60โฌ. This is the only reason for the date choosing, no other reason. I found also a residence etc so i was ready for visit the exhibition At the MiMa all was great, the museum, the invader pieces, really interesting for me that i follow Invader from About 12 years or more. At the end of my visit i went to the terrace for have a look of the traditional invader on the wall and here i found a signed poster. The MiMa has done a Giveaway and i found it!!! Itโs incredible. I started my day in a country near Rome, i made 1200km and all my actions (decide to have not lunch, decide to walk from hotel to the Mima 20 minutes, etc etc), all my choises bring me to be on that terrace in the exact minute of the Giveaway. Itโs a joy that i canโt explain but i want to share with you. Maybe Destiny has awarded my determination Happy Good morning everyone, I've seen some sales (or attempted sales) on ebay for signed invaders of various kinds (postcards with Zevs, book covers for example, silkscreens). I also saw Heni's initiative and bought a "camouflage".
Given the price trend of these signed works, I'd like to hear your opinion on the value of my poster.
I want to clarify that it is absolutely not for sale, fate has united me with this object that I basically wanted. Something like this will never happen to me again in my life so I'm not writing this message to look for buyers.
However, I would like to understand the way that we enthusiasts and collectors have to evaluate certain objects.
I tell you my thoughts.
On the one hand I think it is a signed poster, qualitatively nothing outstanding, the paper is standard, it was rolled up. From this point of view it cannot be compared to screen prints printed on the best paper.
On the other hand though I think this signed poster is much rarer than the serigraphs. On balance I believe that during the whole period of the exhibition only 4/5 posters were given away with the give away formula and each time with a different design. For this reason I tend to believe that the signed Marilyn poster could be a kind of unique piece and that its rarity should be considered in formulating an economic value.
I'm conflicted about evaluating one thing or the other as the main one, so I can't give it an economic value.
Let me know your opinion on how much this signed poster is worth, I will read you with interest. Thank you

I'm conflicted about evaluating one thing or the other as the main one, so I can't give it an economic value. Let me know your opinion on how much this signed poster is worth, I will read you with interest. Thank you My thoughts regarding the rarity are thus: even though the signed posters are an extraordinarily low number, the number of unsigned posters - and therefore the possibility (not likelihood) of more being signed - is really quite high. So in that respect it will never be a 1/100 signed screenprint.
Now that might sound like a criticism of value, but it really isn't- just an issue I have with that argument of rarity. At the moment, and in all likelihood, it will remain highly unique and rare. Value wise, it is likely to be worth thousands of whatever currency you deal in (assuming it's one of the "main" ones). Perhaps the biggest issue would be authentication. It might be worth contacting MIMA or even Orbi and saying you have this thing, and is there anything they can provide that says it was shipped to you/verify the signed article. It's possible you could get something, but without it a lot of potential buyers could be wary.
For your purposes, honestly it's priceless. Frame it up, archivally, ph neutral, under UV glass - do all the things. And then enjoy your extremely unique item that many of us, myself included, would love to have!

Thank you for your opinion. I fully agree with what you wrote. I hadn't thought about the fact that more could be signed in the future, although I doubt that this actually happens. One possibility remains.
For authentication I think I'm fine. I have kept the Instagram Stories video from the official MIMA account of me taking the tube, opening it and unrolling this exact signed poster.
Do you think that's enough or can you suggest I do something else?
Thank you
Good morning everyone, I've seen some sales (or attempted sales) on ebay for signed invaders of various kinds (postcards with Zevs, book covers for example, silkscreens).
