Thanks so much for sharing the photos form the exhibition, absolutely brilliant photos and makes up in a way for not making the show, stunning pictures and extensive work by Invader not to mention a hefty bill from Mr Rubik.

I was wondering the same thing if he himself solve the cubes or has someone doing it. Whoever is solving it is legit at it! Fantastic photos, thanks for sharing!

with regards to how he does it I have no idea - perhaps they have a whole bunch that are literally already set from the factory that have the same colour on all 9 sections. these could easily be used for blocks of colour but getting the mixed colours on just the one side is a mind boggling mssive task if done correctly. Look at the Matrix one, there are loads of 3x3 cubes that have a mixture of colours.

have a friend that can do the cube pretty quickly from any position. it looks really impressive, he has told me its just a case of learning the set patterns and then once you get the cube in a certain position, its the same every time. That's all well and good to complete the cube but Invader's work doesn't always use the completed cube.

i remember when I was young, the only way I could have solved it would have been to maybe peel and reapply some of the stickers :-)

Well my son has been kept busy for a while counting some of the images online, first day of the summer holiday, got him off the x box for a while. It is a nice prize, good luck everybody.

My posters were delivered today...to somebody in Rutherford, NJ. according to FedEx, to bad I live in California! Not exactly sure how that could've happened. I can sort of understand if was delivered to the wrong address a few houses down the street from me, but how it ended up on the other side of the country is beyond me. I emailed MIMA and just waiting and hoping for a reply back.

Mine also got delivered to Rutherford, NJ according to the FedEx track and trace and I live in the Netherlands. Currently on holiday so I can not check if this is somekind of weird error from FedEx and it will be delivered correctly.
