One browser window sitting on the site an hour before, another that I went to bang on the dot of the sale. One was #4200+ in the queue, the other 5600+ It made little sense to me as the numbers came up out of sequence, but hey-ho.
After a few fails to load screens, checkout issues, and forced refreshes, I finally managed to bag a pair. One to open and show...the other to keep sealed.
I've spotted and snapped invaders on three continents and now I can have one at home

T - 10 minutes, went on queue, had number 2523; waiting time 50min
T - 0, drop start, the waiting time is soon reduced to 24min
T + 24 min, the page comes up, I add one, but the payment page went offline :-(
Tried again, 404. Tried again, two min later, the payment page is on again !! YES.
I was able to pay by the CC that I registered yesterday to make things faster.
Got a confirmation order e-mail....
but on Musart website it says "You have placed no orders." so I'm a little worried. But hey, payment confirmed by my CC app, plus the email, I hope it'll be fine.

Yes I agree it would be better to sell one in person, instead of two, it would have been more fair, but when I go back to page 2,3,4 and read everything and now how the people complain, it is always the same here.
One time the edition is to big, open edition is shit, edition is to small, something is always, just my 98 words. Happy to score two!

I think democratising art by releasing a large series at a low(ish) price is great and it's shame that some people see it as an opportunity for a small profit rather than great satisfaction.

After my credit card refused to let me pick up my carted RVE and LED prints on Invader's own site (yep, two different occasions for me), I did this through Apple Pay on my phone and it looks to have worked!
