I think none were shipped yet and people are already trying to predict whether this will be a good investment...
If we consider the bottom pricing on ebay, its value is already increased by 60% compared to release pricing. I guess this is not too bad and there are not much ways of getting such return on investment on other kind of products.
I find this a bit annoying to have so many comments on value on items that are not yet received.
I have been buying one and I am looking to receiving it and hopefully the quality will be good and it will look very nice on display. I am now considering on how to display it. I am waiting to see those 3D Invaders being displayed and enjoyed by collectors!

Virtually all threads on desired new releases since you joined 2018 have been about money, how much will it go up, etc. Hard to get annoyed over what is the unfortunate standard. Me? My money invested in a variety of things, real estate, stocks, etc. Art is my pleasure - those trying to flip things like this are bit players. Releases like this always go for a premium on places like eBay initially- whether rare colored album vinyl, every Shepard Fairey release, etc. Impossible to ascertain a value until the market settles - which is generally true in all investment areas. This will sell over list, be interesting since so many made what the eventual median will be. |

Yeah, it's a scary thing to mess with for Artists I fear. If your sales rely on that type of demand too much 😳 it can cause a bubble that bites back in 6 months time, with flippers getting burnt. |

I went 3 weeks ago in art Basel and I found only one work of Banksy and one work by Kaws.
In the entire FAIR!
So in this moment street art is outside from the big money channel of art. (excluding some very few names)
Also the immpresionist movement was outside…150 years ago.
So this toy of Vynil now is like a lottery ticket… maybe (i say Maybe) in 50..100yr could be a real good investment. Not now.
I I’d like to ask you all a question.. Do we buy art to make money? or do we buy it to say one day.. in the ’22 I bought an invaders for 500$.
