I'm coming to London this December (3rd through 7th) for a quick art trip. Can anyone recommend a good hotel/hostel that's clean, centrally located and reasonably priced?

i stayed here last time i went to a show at stolenspace.

place was really comfy, clean and had secure car parking underneath the hotel. was only £100 a night for a double and the rooms were pretty nice with flatscreen, minibar en suite etc. great if you're on a budget

Any recommendations for places for affordably priced places to stay in London? No hostels though please, would rather go for a 1-2 star hotel that is in a good location, near public transportation, no pests, & clean. With this criteria-the less expensive, the better.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Would also love to know which areas are good for nightlife, restaurants, shopping, beautiful women, etc.

For those familiar with New York City, something like Soho, Greenwich Village, LES

Chill places(no velvet rope or dress code) with hip hop, soul, funk, r&b, brazilian music and a diverse crowd would be cool too.

I'd go with that, anything cheaper will be a fleapit, Ibis are ok
