Pure Evil gallery is great too.
I always enjoy visiting the Laz shop - defo worth checking out - nice space invader just under that little tunnel too.

I'll be in Liverpool Street for my job, and have only a 2-3 hours in the afternoon before train back to paris

maybe musicals?

i do have a recent Time Out Guide but its a little bit confusing theres so much information, its pretty hard to pick only a few things...thats why id like to hear some recommendations from a few locals...!

head over to brick lane aswell...stolen space gallery, urban angel.
lots of street art near those two..

It's only great if you like rude 'I don't give a fuck about you service' with people standing around you waiting for table. No lamb chops are good enough for that.
The recommendations for urban art galleries to visit are sound enough but if you're a tourist first and an urban art tourist second then you should get on the Bus Tour - get on and get off as you see fit. A couple of hours well spent as a tourist imo. Generic yes but worthwhile.
