I live in a village just outside Leominster which is about midway between Hereford and Ludlow. Loads of livestock farms, all kinds of soft fruits, hops, apples and the best spuds going. There's also Deer runs and plenty of game, so yes a very meaty part of the country, our barbecues are legendary ;D

Nobody can just develop a style like any of the artists we know over night. Banksy never used to use stencils and probably started off with simple stuff like that on the Conor piece. For them it's all about getting the tag across everywhere, making people see it,yeah it's shit but it will develop over years. Who knows, I'm sure it's already developed form tagging buses, next step will be more colours, next step more style, more flair, make it more unique. We could have the next D*face, Xenz etc on the way.
(Although I'd give it three years)
(Atleast)

me and the lady are visiting 18th to 20th...looking forward to it..
go see all the usual touristy stuff, the eyes good, parliament (we got a personal tour last time with a Lord that my parents know which was awesome), the palace and all the stuff that people go to london to do! it is pricey, but you know..prob afford to miss the dungeons tho, i wasnt that impressed to be honest, and we went at halloween last time!
thing im looking forward to most is the Tutenkahmun exhibit at the 02 dome...once in a lifetime oppurtunity and all that!
btw wat are the best galleries to check out? wanna see some banksys and would love to check out laz, do these galleries tend to be snobbish or would they mind two young uns having a little gander round?!
and where can one get that book?

Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by danvnuk on Dec 6, 2007 22:24:45 GMT 1, Me and the GF, despite working in London made a concious effort to do all the touristy stuff, so many people don't bother which I think is sad.
So, bearing that in mind - the best touristy things to do IMO (apart from the galleries)
Tower of London (spend hours in here) Imperial War Museum City of London Museum (fantastic museum this) Houses of Parliament tour And If your a Foodie - Borough market is a must.

Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by danvnuk on Feb 1, 2008 11:11:01 GMT 1, Borough Market definately, open from 9am Sat morning - get there early and get Breakfast in Monmouth Coffee - Best coffee in London, and all you can eat bread, jam and butter at communal tables for ยฃ2-50 last time I checked.
(may see you - I'll be there tomorrow)
I don't know where you from and where your interests lie - but If you get there early - you can then check out the George Inn in Borough high st - only surviving galleried Inn in Lonodn - dates from 1600 or so.
And then Head to Portobello Rd Market, best off getting the Tube.
Or alternatively, if your into History - and you've never done it - Tower of London is brilliant and for the money - fantastic value.
If your in the area - Butlers Wharf Chop House - in the Bar area - no bookings needed - ยฃ12 or so for two courses, ยฃ14 for 3 - views of Tower Bridge - and the foods great.
Also - a walk down the South Bank is nice if the weathers ok.
Sunday Morning - goto Spitalfields Market, which is brilliant - and check out Brick Lane - loads of street art - make sure to go in the Ten Bellls pub for a look at a pretty much untouched (but sort of cool when it's not full of tourists) Victorian Pub - and it has links to Jack the Ripper (see below)
Canteen Restaurant in Spitalfields is good.
If you've not done it - it's touristy but fun - Jack the Ripper walk - normally go from Tower Hill Station in the evening - London Walks are the best ones - The Jack the Ripper guy is a world renowned expert on the subject. Think it costs about a ยฃ5
Best of All - again - if you've got any interest in History at all - goto the City of London Museum - near Barbican. IMO - the best and most fascinating museum in London - and it's free
