Last couple of times we were in the area, seem to have gone a bit stagnent ....... We are about on Tuesday after the madness of Notting hill is it worth the run that way then buddy
No worries

Still worth seeing the El Seed piece if you haven't seen that. The sulptures are from the Nomadic Community Gardens which is still going strong. There's still good pieces at the wick if you take the train from Shoreditch.

It is wonderful that your little girl has been included in the history of street art. When she is older I am sure she will treasure these pictures.

Yeah I remembered it was someone on here when I saw it. It's on Redchurch Street if you're in the area!

Think it's been there for a few weeks - been a little distracted with one thing or another but yes - I thought it was quite a striking piece and excellently done. Great location too as you can see it from a nice distance through all the hustle of Camden Lock
Seems that The Real Art of Street Art manage most of the legal walls in the area now (not sure if it includes the Grimshaw one) and there is a regular cycle of artists - has its positives and negatives as some walls like the Grimshaw, Autone and the Thiago Goms (the crouching cat-man) are great walls (actually most of the Camden ones are) with some great pieces... and it's a shame how quickly some get replaced as they could otherwise be classic pieces that could stand for years. But we do get to enjoy fresh work regularly.
And I do enjoy looking at a piece on a real wall as opposed to a Builders whitewashed hoarding as the wall just adds something more

I call it 'Dirty Art' - just seems apt, so I was really surprised to see him painting intricate details with a tiny artist brush. Definitely one that is now beginning to emerge and get noticed....
And he even re-grammed one of our UAA photos so like him even more now

I never did manage to get down to see it and cant believe it was 7 years ago this year. Looking at some of the images they really have become classics. I sometimes wonder whether street art has lost its way over the years but that is another discussion and with this thread I often get proved wrong.
Anyhow what I was going to ask is has anybody been down to Leake Street recently and does it still have a decent turnover of art.
For those interested the old link was
