Queen Elizabeth II, by Reader on Sept 15, 2022 10:55:44 GMT 1, Totally agree. The press and government say it's a disgrace when workers are forced to take strike action, but this enforced mourning bringing everything to a halt is apparently perfectly acceptable. Double standards. Exactly. They will more than likely sneak in a bill to make picketing illegal soon just like they did with the freedom to protest. Peoples rights are being eroded more and more each year with every snide bill they pass that doesn't even get a look in, never mind a vote from Jo public. The whole system is antiquated and very much in need of an overhaul I think. Well, we did invent revolution against the Monarchy, time to connect the "common people" back to their glorious history of revolt. And speaking of sticking signs everywhere :-)

Queen Elizabeth II, by Reader on Sept 17, 2022 9:11:28 GMT 1, THE QUEUE " The queue to see Queen Elizabeth II Lying-in-State has resumed, although people are now facing a 30 hour wait, needing to join a queue, to then move into a second queue before joining THE QUEUE. Its 2023. William is on the throne. The funeral for Elizabeth went on so long that Charles died before it ended. The queue to see his body was added to the one to see the Queen and starts at Tebay service station on the M6. It's 2028. The queue now encompasses the entirety of South East England. Many no longer remember what they were queuing for in the first place. Whole industries have been set up to service The Queue, as children conceived and born in The Queue enter education. People are now visiting Britain just to see the queue but also have to queue to see it. The Queue with its 24hr rolling news coverage & social media presence, alledgedly makes you "feel" proud to be British.
God save the Queueโฆ๐ฌ๐ง

Queen Elizabeth II, by Reader on Sept 17, 2022 10:26:36 GMT 1, This thread has demonstrated the differences of emotional intelligence more than any other Iโve seen. There is no right or wrong so hopefully no one takes offence, but can use this for self reflection. Often, the most intelligent people have low emotional intelligence. And this my friends, is why we use bright coloured kiddy cartoon graphics to explain complex social issues and pathological "grief" syndromes to "empaths". No offense. #stockholm
