GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by Acme Thunderer on Nov 4, 2022 22:20:33 GMT 1, Anyone visited the show? Would be interesting to see some pictures… Word word word word Stacks of photos are now on the Martin Whatson Facebook group. There is plenty of artwork there so looks worth visiting in person.
Anything left over (which there will be) will be on sale online from Sunday @ 5pm. Use this link - graffitiprints.com/collections/10th-anniversary-show

GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by og on Nov 5, 2022 8:41:32 GMT 1, I went, was great to see so much work from artists we all like so much. The Martin Whatson room (not quite but almost) was frantic with people FaceTiming buyers and talking prices. The set up was very fair with everyone getting a ticket and then being served in order. They’d served about 10 in the first hour (sure it would’ve quickened up), I was less than 20 in the queue but couldn’t stay.
I’d say the originals were good value, 50/50 Martin Whatson original Violinist and couple dancing (picked up by Tall Paul) were £5k. The Scuba which was a bit bigger was around £7k (picked up by Sean). Small Hama Woods stencil on canvas was £750. Large Nuno Viegas originals were about £5/6k. Lots of great framing on show as well if anyone needed inspiration.
Met some nice art fans (we’re all nice, aren’t we). I didn’t really know what to expect, where I was in the queue I couldn’t see in, so first glances of the work were when I walked in. A chap called Nick, I think, said he was expecting some sort of release for those that came in person. That’s probably a fair shout, would’ve been a nice thing to mark the 10-year anniversary.
Only pic I actually took was of this Snik. I tried not to take any photos just so I could take it in and also not have any FOMO when I left having not bought anything.

GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by Acme Thunderer on Nov 6, 2022 16:44:53 GMT 1, All of the items that were available at the show can now be seen online. This includes the prices of everything that has been sold so far. The unsold items will go on sale online from 5pm today.
Prices are not cheap though and note that there will be extra shipping costs as items are framed.

GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by Art Fan 2011 on Nov 6, 2022 18:58:25 GMT 1, 200-300 shipping WITHIN the UK, who are they trying to kid!
Overpriced artwork with criminal postage costs. When was the last time you could buy anything from a vault sale - never!
This time pages of unsold work, even things from Whatson.
How things have changed!

GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by Reader on Nov 6, 2022 18:58:50 GMT 1, Nuno's Queen canvas are pretty special and price point is the norm, stand out works but everything looks a bit flat when grouped together this way, still struggle to see how the likes of Shane Turner can sit next to the likes of Nuno tbh. As for the price points, well, I suspect that ship has sailed.

GraffitiPrints • 10 Year Anniversary Show, by mrizzle on Nov 6, 2022 20:47:50 GMT 1, It seems that most of the canvases have been priced at similar price points irrespective of the artist. Nuno’s King and Queen are the two standout originals in my eyes too Reader . Some really nice Snik pieces went up too mind you.
