I will get 2-3 for sure. I just wished they would have released over a longer period and he wouldnt release as many as he does recently.
I am a big fan, got some hanging on the walls, some I probably never sell because they are timeless with their message and as you mentioned they are very appealing.
It feels like they use maybe more inc or thicker than other prints. Each work looks like a unique piece handpainted and with a very strong colour. They are in person always 10x better than on pictures. My Ghost just arrived and it is so much better than I thought thourgh the photos I have seen.
I personaly like his simple messages, they are kind, clean, simple, short, not overwhelming and I like those who bring Joy, laughter or are very bad. From all art I collected so far, my Raccon (Iยดm sorry 2021) is my most favorit. I have never met someone who saw it hanging on my wall and didnt had at least a smile on his face. Thats what art should like to me, more than just deco, something you want to look at once in a while and i should reveal some emotion inside of you. It shouldnt look cheap and Shrigleys do exactly that for me.
From a investment point of few, all the new releases are not good. There are not as many collectors like me and the ones I met, are also looking forward to the releases themselve. And If you wait in a que in person, you see a lot of people who are there to flip the works (some already negotiating in the que). I wish the buying process would start to be a little more exclusive. The prints are awesome and I think from the new ones you can buy each one and wont lose your money, maybe you wont do as much money as with "Live each day" but this wont hold collectors back of getting those they like! :-)

I rotate his 40 euro posters through the bathroom and guests have a chuckle, but its a novelty item to me and not something I can take $eriou$ly.
Just wish the shark and dog were available as posters!

I just can't justify the 2000 euros...Maybe 1500, but not 2000. Shrigley just keeps pumping those pieces out and I don't think the quality has been there since the songbird and trash panda were released.
(Also, I am deluded into thinking I have a chance at a Hirst "veil" and I don't want to spend any other money...ha ha ha)

Like the image and message - appreciate Shrig is not for all but Iโve been a fan from way back - first came across him when he was nominated for the Turner prize in 2013 - bizarrely held close to home in Derry/Londonderry, NI. Have previously purchased a number of cheaper woodcuts, prints and posters over the years (plus many books) so this is my first buy over a few hundred quid - but for ยฃ1750 posted, and the fact these are multi-coloured screen prints, I actually think itโs a decent deal - the lack of tiering is welcome as it gives plenty of time to consider the purchase without the dreaded FOMO!
Will be going on my wall anyway so not that worried on the long term valueโฆโฆ.

Possible commentary on the extremely odd influencer/aspiration lifestyle marketing culture we're living thought currently. each edition has only 125 pieces. They are nice for collectors like me tbh and they look good on the wall. hes mostly known in UK and few EU countryโs so a whole world to explore. He works perfectly with instagram and has more followers than for example Damien Hirst and a lot of people can afford his art.

But he is still young. I find his Art more appealing than most works of Damien Hirst and other artists throw 25000 pieces a year on the market. each edition has only 125 pieces.
