Anyone have a closeup of the attributes chart in this photo? The video which this featured in is available somewhere but I can’t find it at the moment. The attribute numbers are all here:

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by blurp on Mar 5, 2023 14:42:42 GMT 1, The ugliness has grown on me, they also represent a rather odd time in art (NfTs) and the world (I am partial to GEs with masks as a pandemic marker/reference). They are also DH's 1st airdrop and pure NFT. Offering physicals (at a price) would generate $ (DH loves money) and be a reverse Currency of sorts with some collectors keeping the NFT. Who knows if they will do a burn of the NFT for the physical or a claim (plus cash in both instances, I assume) but what I want to see is a mechanism limiting the supply. Thus if you claim the physical, you burn the NFT. Perhaps you can only claim the physical with 2,4,6, 8, 10 NFTs. That would drive up scarcity and price. However Heni haven't (yet) shown themselves to be that innovative with mechanics.
You probably right. Would simply make things interesting imho. Don't forget the GEs were airdropped to DHC hodlers. So it's not beyond possible. Also watch the second AMA from DH on insta on that question. Either way I like these. Iconic. Pop, physical manifestation of an incredible era in art history.

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by cryptoowly on Mar 5, 2023 17:39:25 GMT 1, Agreed. Doesn't have to be DHC NFT either. Could be a certain number of Heni ecosystem NFTs. I have to say that the currency is the seminal physical for NFT burn projects. Wouldn't say this would be a reverse- starting point in each instance is the NFT. But Heni have certainly been innovative. The Empresses is the first example of an NFT deed which is basically a future allowing liquid trading for future physical delivery - I'm pretty sure it's the first if it's kind. Tbh I think they are leaders in the physical/NFT field for mechanics

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by zoomrider on Mar 5, 2023 18:07:21 GMT 1, Yeah rumour is 1k a pop. The delay I believe was how to get Damien signature on the front, signed, rather than on the back label. What is love to see is utility to do so to GE holders but you also need to own a DHC NFT. Would reduce supply to 3.5k ish which sounds like a nice mix of utility and commerciality. I think the rarer backgrounds without too many attributes would do well as less of those. You can see the rarity and breakdown on the heni website I believe. If you entered the ballot and got a Currency you were lucky (full disclaimer: I entered but didn’t get one). The concept of repeating “utility” is what I despise most about NFTs. Supposedly they are “digital art” except few actually want the art (JPG) and instead the perks and benefits that go with it.
For DHC the overwhelming benefit was the opportunity to exchange for a DH original before the burn. Studio visits, freebies and the GE are all a bonus. If you sold your GE and subsequent redemption for a physical is a thing, tough luck! Why should DHC holders get constant “benefits” forever more. As I see it (the experiment), you opted to keep the NFT after the burn because you believe in the concept and value of digital art itself. Seems instead many gambled hoping they would get some future reward. Totally void of any interest in NFTs as a medium for art itself. I find this incredibly elitist and exclusionary from a majority who happened to “get lucky” in the first place. Art should be as accessible as possible to the many, not the few.
Own a GE should mean you have the opportunity to purchase (yes, spend more money!). Not some pyramid scheme requiring multiple criteria that only benefits DHC.

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by Londown 01 on Jul 3, 2023 19:56:03 GMT 1, Strange situation:
I thought of going for one of the cheaper NFTs but then found the corresponding physical of it in the photos above. Should one stay away from it then? Because if the NFTs will ever get the opportunity to be converted into physical, it would either mean that a) HENI ship out one that was already exhibited or more likely b) there is another identical one, which means that there would be 2 (assuming they're not destroying the older one) identical physical ones.

I do remember having this convo about GE NFT into physical and at the time of the currency exhibition it was just an idea that was being thrown around so maybe that’s passed now but was deffo a consideration from Heni at that time…

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by Smokeidaeye on Sept 2, 2023 0:25:44 GMT 1, It is definitely a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’, and then ‘how much’.
Interesting that these appear to be printed on aluminum like all of the recent Hirst releases but are signed on the front versus a sticker slapped on the back. Stickers are just flat out lazy (not to mention browning and peeling off over the years)...

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by hopperdj on Nov 9, 2023 15:48:39 GMT 1, From Heni Discord **Damien Hirst's *Great Expectations* physical prints**
**HENI is delighted to present the physical prints for *Great Expectations* by Damien Hirst**, following the collection of 10,000 NFTs that he released in 2021.
**Holders of a** ***Great Expectations*** **NFT can now purchase a print of the artwork featured on their NFT**. Each NFT can** be used only once** in respect of the purchase of the corresponding physical print. The NFT will be burned in the process. **Each of the editions in the series will be unique**.
The editions are **Diasec-mounted Giclée prints on aluminium composite panel, measuring 80 x 80 cm each**. The prints are priced at $2,500 (plus any applicable taxes). Each print will be **hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the label**.
The prints are available on HENI Editions and the purchase window is open from **9 November 2023 to 18 January 2024 at 17:00 GMT**. Order your print via heni.com/editions/great-expectations 👈
Released to holders of ***The Currency*** NFTs, the ***Great Expectations*** NFT collection contains 10,000 unique artworks made by Damien Hirst. At the centre of these artworks are grids of **emoji-like pregnant women** whose forms have been constructed **from spots of various shapes, sizes and colours taken directly from *The Currency* artworks** themselves. The collection references some of the most iconic imagery from Hirst's monumental career. You can read more about the project here: <https://heni.com/nft/collections/great-expectations>
While the structure and basic forms are repeated across the series, each NFT is individualised by colour or unique attributes. **The attributes are divided into seven categories, which include accessories, clothes, facial features, hair, headwear, occupation and background**. Naturally, some attributes or combinations of attributes are rarer than others.
If you would like to **purchase a *Great Expectations*** NFT, the collection is available on **OpenSea**, LooksRare and Coinbase: opensea.io/collection/great-expectations. *Please note that the NFT token must be on the PALM chain to initiate the burning process.*

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by My Name is Frank on Nov 9, 2023 16:31:44 GMT 1, I managed to lose my NFT of this, dont know how, it just disappeared. Made me really panic and set my mind on getting the physical currency. Might need to see if I can somehow find it again now.

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by flingading on Nov 9, 2023 16:39:46 GMT 1, I have one with the special background. Nor sure it would look good. Plus 2.5k is a bit of steep for what it is. Curious how many gets printed. I think the plainer ones with less fuss look better. I'd imagine plain white and black versions will probably be quite desirable. I think a few of the special backgrounds will hide the signature and I'm guessing the majority of buyers will be very keen to point out to anyone and everyone they have an 'original' Hirst!

Damien Hirst • Great Expectations, by Matt on Nov 9, 2023 16:55:44 GMT 1, I have one of these and could have fancied it as a print but with some texture which they need imo
instead they are going with the dibond process which looks so flat and bland...
too bad
