Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Buckwurst on Feb 10, 2023 15:44:32 GMT 1, Has anyone ever attempted to recreate/ copy one of the Rubik's works with Rubik's cubes? Should not be so difficult, rather cheap, and very close to the original, no? Only a small one..

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Charlie Bronson on Feb 10, 2023 15:59:47 GMT 1, Looks like I made a wise choice spending 1.7 Euro on this postcard instead. Your minimalist decor makes the place look like a contemporary art gallery. Nicely done as well with the "postcard" reference, which gave me a good chuckle. The art of understatement has always been one of life's small pleasures. As for the Rubik's Cube, I wasn't even aware they existed on that scale. I'm guessing it must be close to 1 mยณ in size (assuming your ceiling height is around the UK national average). Pretty sure thatโs a corner of a shelf, not a room and ceiling, and thatโs the standard size cube invader recently released.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by LJCal on Feb 10, 2023 16:19:47 GMT 1, Don't believe whats said here. They are trying to keep the edition size low. Always happens, go with your gut. I can't speak for others but I am absolutely not 'trying to keep the edition size low' LOL. As a good member and experienced collector I think it's important as a community to flag to other members when companies like HENI are taking advantage of art buyers and in this case I truly believe this is the case and these are not good buys. As another member pointed out Hirst (The HENI OG) has way more reach than Invader and going by the level of craft on these prints and comparison to pricing of other HENI releases these are overpriced and will struggle to maintain their at source pricing. They look like posters framed with acrylic, not fine art prints. Even the Peter Doig prints were a far better buy as they were nicely printed, hand signed by a well regarded fine artist and also cheaper. Don't fall for the trap y'all. But if you want to spend 3k on a laminated invader poster, go for it. It's disappointing Invader has approved these. They do not stand up against his other editions. All the crystal ball gazing makes me chuckle. Thereโs every chance these could be worth double in a year as them halving in value, based on the current information we have. The fact is until we know the edition size and see some secondary sales itโs pure speculation backed with zero evidence. On this basis thereโs every chance that rather than preventing members being taken advantage of your discouraging them from a good buy.

I totally agree with, you nobody knows what their value will be a month, a year, a decade from now. So many factors : edition size, potential new releases, etc. So trying to guess is funny and I think we all try to do this. On the other side, critics about quality and artistic interest is relevant according to me as it is the aim of a forum like this one

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by ck1 on Feb 10, 2023 21:40:37 GMT 1, Funny - I would argue her Marilyn (as seen in her website below) is not a better finished product but I am sure it is cheaper. There are online tools that can turn any image into a Rubik's cube image and tell you how to make it.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Dino Link on Feb 10, 2023 22:01:05 GMT 1, I think the editions numbers will be lower than what people expect because of the amount of negativity about these prints on this board and people might fomo after they close the orders. If you donโt have an invader print this is a good deal. I am still on the fence but probably not going to get it as I already have one of his screen prints.

People are paying ยฃ1k for a signed postcard.
ยฃ2k for a signed sticker sheet.
Donโt let the fudders put you off, these are a signed metre by metre limited edition Invader print for ยฃ3k
A quality made product, quality packaged which will In the near future selling at all the big auction houses.
But if not decided maybe buy a sticker sheet instead.

I also think this wonโt be massively buy by flippers because of all the reasons said in this thread and also flippers may not like big and heavy artworks. Not easy to store and to ship Go for it! Iโm still hesitating ,I would like to buy one but I change my mind every day, today is my Cube day and yesterday it was country life. Hope it wonโt end with nothing but regrets !

There are a number of important factors to consider when buying art. Upon viewing these prints in person I got distinct alarm bells. To anyone buying though I truly hope i'm proved wrong. The Marilyn print will clearly be the highest edition. What are the edition guesstimates for these prints?

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by stendhal on Feb 11, 2023 9:43:20 GMT 1, We have to distinguish two things : 1) Is it a good artwork? --> answer is no 2) Will the value of this edition increase? --> we don't know (perhaps!) but probably not that much as price is almost 4k with VAT in France (and I guess in most countries) and at 5k/6k your reach the price of a very limited print in public auction so how could it overvalue these?

But there is always a premium for the less expensive artwork by an artist, for instance the signed postcards. For those who have only 1k to spend, it is their only way to have something signed by Invader so they overpay. If the art market was fully rational and that these postcards had a legitimate value of 1k, rubikcubism edition should be 15k each at least and would still be a bargain

Iโm guessing that will the highest edition. Marilyn and Camouflage edition numbers will be very close to each other. Camouflage has the similar invader to his original alert print and is more closer to invaders known iconic work. Itโs basically a massive signed invader print/metal street sign - for 3k. Might not be a great investment for a flip but still pretty damn cool to have.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Deleted on Feb 11, 2023 10:35:42 GMT 1, I donโt think Heni has anyone on here that is talking up this release..
Pretty much everyone has mentioned this not a good flip. Basically, all time releases are not good buys for people who flip. Virtues was a rare situation. I think this time release shit is really going to hurt the print market actually and some artists.
But also chill the hell out and let other express their opinions without becoming a troll yourself.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Urban Germany on Feb 11, 2023 11:22:57 GMT 1, Itโs easy. The rule of thumb is, buy art for the aesthetics and not for the moneyโฆ then everything will be fine. if you don't like it, don't buy it.
A Invader is always worth an investment! ..also this one.
IMO The Marilyn piece is a really beauty and for 3k a top deal! Not for flippers, for lovers.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Acme Thunderer on Feb 11, 2023 11:59:04 GMT 1, Surely Heni are missing a marketing trick as these prints are incredibly versatile and could also be used as kitchen splashbacks.
They are wipe clean and the aluminium dibond is suitable for high temperatures.
If you still have problems choosing which one - for any messy cooks, I would suggest 'Marilyn' if you are prone to splashes from tomatoes, or 'Country Life' if you cook a lot of greasy food.
Hopefully this will help boost the edition numbers.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by cc13 on Feb 11, 2023 12:56:35 GMT 1, Hopefully like most I only buy what I like, but generally always have a think about worst case scenario if I want/need to offload. We can argue all day long about what these are โworthโ in terms of their construction, or what they represent in terms of Invaderโs โrealnessโ, but can anyone realistically see these dropping more than ยฃ500 in value? Unlike Currency and the Empresses these are not attached to (confusing for many and vary volatile) NFTs, and represent a pretty accessible price point for people keen to own an invader but without multiples of the Heni price to spend. Yes you can hunt out magazine covers or sticker sheets but most have no interest in that. So IMO, if you likeโฆ buy and enjoy!

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by stuckeyc on Feb 11, 2023 13:22:22 GMT 1, Having just purchased as a gift to myself I am now encouraged these will only gain in value knowing that the Russian oligarchy will be unable to purchase them at source and will have to turn to the secondary. Sadly for them I have the perfect spot on the wall and it will be immediately hung and enjoyed for decades to come

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by stendhal on Feb 11, 2023 13:55:35 GMT 1, Surely Heni are missing a marketing trick as these prints are incredibly versatile and could also be used as kitchen splashbacks. As Picasso made plates which are now very valuable and in high demand, why not splashback from Invader! Very funny and quiet the right size for this

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Lroy on Feb 11, 2023 14:45:10 GMT 1, Sorry but the iconic and hyped Heni is a shame ?! Never seen so much advertisements on Facebook, Instagram and other social media ! Too many promotional adverts kill the art ?! How to trust them ?! After Hirst, Invader.. Makers of money A brand more hyped and present than Adidas or Nike ! The are the Guess of art.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Lord Lucas Roham on Feb 11, 2023 15:09:33 GMT 1, Yep, this like Kaws and Murakami is 'sneaker' art. Bought and flipped by guys in their 30s who used to flip Jordans and Yeezys.
I know for a fact that many got stung with the Empresses and JR release so I am curious to see if they are buying to flip here.
For transparency I was on the fence but WON'T be making a purchase.

Although Iโd be curious if I would get dizzy while washing the dishes/cooking on the stove.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by skarsnik on Feb 11, 2023 18:13:50 GMT 1, One idea to have an edition size estimate: from anyone you bought at the beginning of the sale, can we have a command number (not the real one, the hundred would be enough). And the same from a recent purchase?
