I think the one difficulty for a lot of people is not being able to see them due to distance and being in another country. Its worth seeing them in the flesh to make an informed decision. What this leaves is trust in other peoples judgment of them. Who do you value in their opinion in artwork who has seen them?

The irony is the less people like it and don't buy the better the edition size, which makes them more desirable in the future. But who will buy in the future? The world seems to know about this release and most could buy at source. Sure the Russians as someone mentioned. A bit of Fomo regret may be the big one later.

My whole family agreed that they would love one of these for the wall, which is a rare thing. So I looked at the savings etc. But I went to see them and have owned invader before and these fall short. Sure its a giclee, but some great artists release giclees and no one bat's an eyelid. This said its the flatness and the need for a large room to get your three grands worth that matters. Weight is another factor. For me the images are not as bad as everyone has said. The 80s theme resonates with me, but it lacks seasoning in this particular meal.

If the cube was given another dimension like Adam Neate did with the tin piece, it would have helped. Don't get me wrong these will look good in the right place, but you have to have that right place. Dining room? Eating your meal with 2 to 3 metres each side would save a quint.

What about invader? £3k is expensive enough to keep a market of buyers with biggish houses etc. Too cheap would have introduced new collectors but would have risked his market that he has cultivated over the years. Why risk that.

Bad look for fair art to sell something that is still available at source imo. Doesn't seem right. Who gets the commission on this one invader or heni?

Guess I'm an outlier here.  The fact that they are on the larger size is coming up as one of the reasons I'm still considering jumping in.  I might have gone in head first if they were larger still.
