Lifes 2 Short for sale., by dogant on Apr 28, 2008 22:08:28 GMT 1, By all means flip, we live in a capitalist state - but don't say it's white when everyone on Savvy St knows it's black. Sell, take your profit, move on, repeat. Exactly!! There's nothing to stop anyone flipping anything they like, but using this forum to do it just seems hypocritical and unethical. It's a clear case of biting the hand that feeds. None of us like the threads where people are talking in code and referring to the PMs because they don't want to share information, but who can blame them? They don't want people like Liam and his mates after the same art they are as they'll have no chance of getting it at cost. I was annoyed with people witholding information on a forum, but I'm more annoyed I'd have to pay 3-5 time the price to get something I like because it was bought by someone purely for purposes of exploiting me and likeminded people. Dogant, flipperbashing you say?? OK, whatever, but fvck 'em all I say! Art-appreciation and flipping are not symbiotic passtimes.
heavyconsumer - there must be something better to do - but hay, each to their own - although I do agree with the some of the post - lets not pretend we are buying art for the love, ito them make a fast buck (although, some people need money more than others and who are we to judge)
Flipping - most of us do it, some shout louder than others and set themselves up for a larger fall.
