The same questions are asked every time HENI releases something.
They ALWAYS ship from the UK, and their shipping costs are very low.
You are subject to VAT based on where you live, and UK customers will pay 20%, anyone else will pay according to their countryโs import tax rules on art. Some of them allow a favorable rate, but giclees may not fall into that favorable category. Normally you can just request it and the shipping agent is none the wiser.
They charge in dollars.
The HENI vault apparently no longer exists.
You will be blacklisted if you auction it and they see the edition number.
Now Iโll see the same questions asked another four or five times today.

Really prefer the screenprint which is rare these days rather than inkjet and a smaller edition size. But I canโt choose interms of image. You are right heni is more expensive too.

For edition size and dimensions (Heni bigger / Counter smaller edition) they are about 50/50 but image wise Heni wins hands down. The Counter is a screenprint though! Probably need to take off ยฃ500 off the Heni for the framing. But they both make the Secession release look like a real bargain which was huge, a great image and lowish edition at half the price. |

The Courtauld edition was better value for money and it and others can be had for less. The previous heni Doig does well secondary as a set though.

I would love advise as to thoughts on whether these are likely to hold their value. High price for a Giclรฉe but I do like Doig's work. Not in love with the Counter Editions piece, not enough detail for my personal taste.
How have the previous HENI x DOIG pieces performed on 2nd market?
Any advice appreciated. Not buying to sell on but not wanting to make a bad investment either for my family.

I am sure a lot of people have their opinion, buy it if you like it etc, then you will never lose as you can enjoy it on your wall. Well, you can enjoy a nice poster on your wall also, for a fraction of the prices of limited editions. IMO a couple of the Doig's are nice and i was tempted myself, especially as you can stick them straight up on the wall. Although the price is probably okay, I fear you won't be making healthy profit on these any time soon. The way the market is at the moment, these are definately only a buy if you want it for your wall, not for a short or medium term investment. Maybe long term, but risky.
