It's not an Italian specificity. It's a worlwide ( mine is awful ) problem : post offices and employees making the delivery don't care about mails, tubes etc...
Postman only ring once : if you are here, it's good, if you are not they put back the package to their post office without leaving any tracked form in the letter box.
So, after 15 days it's going back to the sender. It coul be also, people refusing to pay the tax fees, so the tube or the package is going back too.
Paying taxes on art if you're not a dealer I'd say it's an abomination!
And then the States say that culture must be promoted? Politicians in 99.9% of cases are always and only emeritus idiots!

The fee varies from country to country. Usually you have to add 20% / 22% on the entire amount spent, and then you have to add the duties but if I remember correctly only if they exceed a certain value.
So you also have to consider the shipping costs. And in addition you have to add the costs for customs clearance which are always a fixed rate regardless of the value of the package. Let's say we pay taxes on art and for these exorbitant amounts, it's really a squalid thing on all levels!
If art really has to be taxed, it should be taxed like basic necessities.
3% or at most 4%.
Without art and culture we cannot go forward, like bread and water.
Idiot politicians!... Will they ever understand this?... Unfortunately, I think not!... Otherwise they wouldn't be idiots!

The Ukrainian people impressed the world and were awarded prestigious international honors: Charlemagne (for defending European values), Andrei Sakharov (for freedom of thought), The Atlantic Council (for outstanding leadership), the Kazimierz Pulawski Foundation (Knight of Freedom), etc. The postal issue, dedicated to the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, features one of seven graffiti by the English artist Banksy created in Ukraine in 2022. The graffiti with a knocked-out judoka was painted on the wall of a destroyed house in Borodyanka (Kyiv region). The "PTN PNH!" stamp is a charity issue of Ukrposhta. The donations collected in this way will be used by Ukrposhta to rebuild educational institutions destroyed by Russian missile attacks.

Have to say I think sticking these around the place is a great idea, and sharing images of where theyโve been stuck around the world. 31 pages of talk about coveting these stamps does make you question if people here are losing the plot.

The frame is plastic, but it seems like real glass, rather than crappy acrylic. They're cute, and exactly as per the photos already posted. One stamp on the rear for Bagetnoya.

Very definitely from Ukraine it looks legit (exactly as all the pictures, stamp is real etc). A really nice product. However no stamp on the back so still unsure which will be correct (via official sale link) and unfortunately for me no purchase receiptโฆ |
