Who wants to buy, buy as well. I just wish everything else was centered around art and artists. About the information you have about them. Collectors could find much benefit in this... as would any potential investor. This is the Banksy forum. Hopefully tomorrow's best collectors are born here. Best advice and best information ever. Then all the abuse and threats started being publicy posted too every time I commented on a post. I contacted support for help and didnt get a reply so I decided to block him. When I am outright attacked and abused for all to see in public for only doing the right thing dont I have the right to defend myself?

If you're still looking, I and others have had good experience buying from this eBay seller. The stamp sheet looks off, but the text down the side is on the first day cover version of the envelope ("premier jour") - so there are envelopes with and without it. Also the back of the first day envelope has a few paragraphs about the war and the choice of the Banksy image, which the other envelopes don't. If you're still looking, I and others have had good experience buying from this eBay seller. At customs they completely opened the package. They checked the entire contents. They put everything back inside and mailed me the box... including the torn outside. All in a sealed plastic package. An accompanying letter says: during the processing phase, the envelope sent to you suffered a slight damage, but it does not reasonably compress the contents. You can eventually make a complaint. I just find it interesting that they say the packaging suffered damage, instead of saying they opened it for customs, which I assume they are entitled to do. In any case, if you have no damage there is nothing to claim and you can spend your time on better things. |
