An important part of the proceeds from the sale will go to charity. Consider that the site of the Ukrainian post ... even in the past gave the opportunity to buy more at the beginning.
Today fewer people are attracted to print news. So I believe that some enthusiasts will have the opportunity to buy the paintings. The price increase should diminish the opportunists.

Giving to charity or buying art has a higher purpose. In this case there are two sides at war with each other. If Banksy dedicated a work of art to Russia... I'd buy it easily. And if that money... goes towards building shelters for Russian civilians... I'd gladly do it for the Russian people too. Ukrainians and Russians are children of the same family. As well as brothers from the rest of the world. They should stop fighting each other.

The option of paying directly (I haven't/ don't done/do the newfangled goog/apple pay - I don't connect phone to credit cards) leaves you paying through an Austrian (maybe Swiss) bank with ties to Puccya. Not thrilled about that. A couple of people mentioned previously that they were 'hacked' after a purchase (earlier in this thread). It is what it is... |
