most have hand painted boxes, some dont.
not all gifts, you could buy them in the early days from his store in japan.
original price was $3000 i think.... same item now sells for over $100K now.

The '250' is not the price,it's an edition of 250 pieces of each.

I Agree, size seems very little and not sure of the quality it's an expansive goodies |

Haven't posted in a while. A family member got allocated a set of the above back end of last year. He's not really a proper collector and this is by far the biggest art purchase he's ever made and not really something he can afford to keep hold of. He's asked me to help him find a buyer, he's not greedy but obviously I want to help him achieve a decent but fair price. Anyway I have spoken to a few galleries and auction houses but thought I would try here before we consign, as know there are a few KAWS collectors. I managed to check these out over the weekend and they are gorgeous, whilst quite small they weigh alot and are super high quality. Each piece comes boxed and with a signed COA.
