The upcoming time-limited edition does incorporate the middle finger motif synonymous with Weiwei and one he has historically used across different mediums and compositions. We donโt want to give away too much detail on the rest, but of the upcoming three limited prints, only one uses the middle finger motif (combined with new printing techniques) while the other two limited prints and sculpture will use completely different art works.
If you don't mind clarifying this for me: the releases are all connected to the exhibition at the Design Museum? And: is the sculpture now available at the Design Museum part of the 4 editions, or is it going to be 4 Avant Arte editions plus anything that the museum offers?

Yes exactly the releases are all connected to the exhibition at the Design Museum. Our sculpture has not been revealed yet so the one currently on the Design Museum website is not the one with us. All 4 editions that we're doing with Ai Weiwei will be featured on our own website once announced. |
