Damien Hirst - The Beautiful Paintings, by its all about me on Mar 31, 2023 17:30:33 GMT 1, I'm in two minds about these. When I first saw them I thought, "wow! A signed Hirst on canvas! Brilliant!" Now I've calmed down a bit, I realise it's a canvas that I have created myself and has actually nothing to do with Hirst at all. But, then again, you are getting a Hirst hand-signed print on canvas.
To buy or not to buy. Decisions, decisions...

What if Heni hadn't released the generator for people to use but instead used it themself behind Oz's curtain and sold "signed 1-of-a-kind artwork on canvas" via a timed edition?
Would that change your decision to buy? You wouldn't be able to pick how yours turns out but that was the same with Currency.
Instead, I just bought one of these 80s-era spin painting kid's toys on Amazon.

Damien Hirst (his team) made the designs, algorithm and put together the whole project. You are literally just picking different colors as an input to the project - you are not creating the art. If shrigley allowed you to choose the color of a duck or cat on his 3K print I am sure everyone would be psyched.

Also whether that will look good or interesting in a few years time given how this space will develop. But canโt deny itโs a signed Hirst for 4 figures.

Some I like and others I donโt My understanding having been on the site os that there is a random generator that will change each time you refresh, but once design and title have been chosen, it will not change. Then on checkout you will see the finished and titled design in your basket and get the opportunity its to choose dimension. I hope this helps.
