Own Art Cock Up, by Daylight Robber on Apr 1, 2023 22:26:12 GMT 1, So I 'purchased' a print from a gallery using the Own Art scheme. It was delivered yesterday and unpacked this morning. On opening, the print was a different colour to what was ordered. I had planned on giving the gallery a call today, once I'd got all my family stuff out of the way. By the time I had time, the gallery was shut.
In the mean time the gallery has sent me an email advising me that they've accidentally cancelled the order, including the credit agreement and have asked me to get in touch to pay them the outstanding balance, either in full, or through another Own Art application. I've checked and it does look like the agreement has been cancelled, so I'm convinced it has been a genuine accident and I am more than happy to pay again. What I'd like to know is how having had an agreement cancelled, by the vendor, might affect my credit rating and will it be affected further if I re-apply?

It may affect your credit when you re-apply to the new company for credit as they will probably run a complete credit report and that can affect your score.
