The bag check in the train station nearby was very useful place to stick the posters whilst having a look around town. The Nicolas Party exhibition at the modern institute was great and shouldn’t be missed. Plus they had a had a lovely free poster which was a nice surprise.

Could get really up close and even touch and interact with some of the stuff. The staff actually seemed happy to be there even though it was 10pm, and were happy to take some polaroids we requested.
After the show, ended up in some pub listening to these French geeza's on the karaoke, and then to some place called Max's Bar which was rammed beyond belief, fun though.

TIA Premierinn on Ballater Street will do the job. Typical of most Preminns in the city, clean and tidy, just across the river from city centre, 15 min walk max from museum, on site parking for £5 or £6 per night, its outside ULEZ Zone. Coming from south of city its a dawdle to find using Waze or Google Maps or Sat Nav but depending on age of your car / Satnav it might not have the newish / easiest motorway to get you to this hotel and u could end up in the ULEZ Zone. |

I was mesmorised by quite how incredible all the stencils looked together, they're all so precise and intricate and loved how they were all lit so you could see the detail. The real originals!
Really appreciated being able to see the installations close up, spent a while playing with the meat truck (had my photo taken with the aminals). The bus-stop, phone booth, sleigh...incredible, all of it. Great to see Pete Brown's Margate paintings included too.
I even had a quick nap and photo on the Banksy bed   ...the staff were all so nice they didn't even mind. A very memorable day out, fanks Banks...and I got a new passport BOOM.
*for the more observant forum members you may notice my avatar has changed. I attempted to take my hat off as a mark of respect but instead my avatar disapeared completely...blown away
